You will contribute to the product group’s strategy and roadmap, develop a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, and stay hands-on in the product work where it matters most. You will work closely with other product managers and product leaders across the team to keep priorities, dependencies, and roadmaps aligned.

The ideal candidate is a technically grounded product leader who has helped other product managers grow and uses AI as a core part of how they work every day. They balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities, and build a team that does the same.

What You’ll Do

Product Group Strategy & Roadmap

  • Contribute to the strategy and roadmap for a connected group of products and initiatives, aligned with product leadership’s portfolio strategy and company goals.
  • Own investment trade-offs within the product group, making risks, opportunity cost, and impact on revenue and profitability explicit.
  • Use market trends, competitive insights, customer research, and product data to set priorities across the product group.
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform scalability across the products you own.
  • Define and monitor success metrics for the product group, including adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue contribution.

People Leadership

  • Partner with the VP of Product Management on hiring, onboarding, and performance management for your team.
  • Run regular one-on-ones, skill gap assessments, and growth plans for your team.
  • Raise AI fluency across your team by setting expectations for AI-assisted workflows and coaching on AI feature definition and evaluation.
  • Build a team culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.

AI Product Development

  • Partner with Product Development leadership to shape AI direction for the product group, including where AI belongs and in what order to build it.
  • Apply the company’s strategy for evaluation, release, and responsible AI standards across the product group, and review your team’s evals for coverage and rigor.
  • Monitor AI quality and cost for the product group against agreed thresholds and raise risks and trade-offs to leadership early.
  • Contribute to defining requirements for emerging AI protocols, such as MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI agent for the product group, partnering with Engineering on which data, actions, and permissions to expose.
  • Build working prototypes to validate concepts with dealers and internal stakeholders.

Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Be accountable for delivery across the product group, working with Engineering and UX leads from concept through launch.
  • Engage with Engineering as a technical peer, weighing performance and implementation trade-offs early so they shape the solution.
  • Hold the product group to a high bar for stability and security, partnering with Engineering to prioritize reliability, performance, and security work alongside new features.
  • Step in as an individual contributor on critical initiatives where needed.
  • Work closely with other product managers and product leaders to coordinate dependencies across product groups.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Operations on launch readiness, enablement, and post-release analysis.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, or Figma AI to build prototypes, automate workflows, and accelerate product work.
  • Experience defining AI-powered product features, including setting success criteria and evaluating output quality, accuracy, reliability, and cost.

  • Track record of data-informed decisions using tools such as GA4 and Pendo.
  • Proficiency with product management tooling such as Jira, Confluence, or Miro.
