What you'll do:

  • Complete a 4-week onboarding program covering our trading systems, options fundamentals, and low-latency engineering practices
  • Design, implement, and optimize low-latency C++ applications used to execute trading strategies across CME, ICE, CBOE, and other exchanges
  • Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and other engineers to translate trading ideas into robust, production-ready systems
  • Maintain and improve our existing trading tools and infrastructure, and help build new ones from scratch
  • Contribute to diagnostic assessments and data analysis to help the team prioritize the highest-impact work
  • Work hands-on with our proprietary quoting systems, models, and options-pricing infrastructure
  • Gradually transition into production ownership with senior mentorship and ongoing support

Qualifications and skills:

  • In your final year of study toward a BA, BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in C++ (or a comparable systems language) and solid computer science fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, and concurrency
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment; familiarity with system-level programming is a plus
  • Experience using AI agents to automate tasks and workflows is a plus
  • Strong debugging instincts and a bias toward measuring before optimizing

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Base salary represents just one part of overall compensation; all full-time, permanent roles are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including items in the above list.

The base salary for this role is 140,000 USD per year
