About egelloC
egelloC is a fast-growing education coaching company helping students and families successfully navigate the college admissions process.
Our mission is simple: to make high-level college admissions strategy more accessible, personalized, and impactful for students from all backgrounds.
We work closely with families to provide long-term academic, extracurricular, and admissions guidance for highly competitive universities across the United States, with a strong focus on the University of California (UC) system, California State Universities (CSUs), and Top 100 U.S. colleges and universities.
Today, egelloC supports students nationwide through a fully remote global team made up of coaches, strategists, editors, client success professionals, and operations specialists. We take pride in fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture where every team member plays a crucial role in helping students maximize their opportunities and confidently pursue their future.

We are looking for a highly driven, relationship-focused, and fast-paced Sales Setter to become the first point of contact for families interested in our programs.
This is not a cold-calling role. You will work exclusively with warm inbound leads, families who have already shown interest in our services and are actively exploring support for the college admissions journey.
Your role is to build trust quickly, qualify prospective families, understand their needs, provide high-level admissions guidance, and successfully transition qualified opportunities to our Advisors (Closers).
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-energy environments, enjoys human connection, moves quickly, and understands how to balance empathy with urgency.
High-performing Setters at egelloC are also the first in line for long-term growth opportunities into Advisor and leadership-level sales roles.
Contact inbound leads quickly through calls, texts, emails, and Zoom meetings to qualify interest, urgency, and fit for our programs.
Conduct meaningful discovery conversations with families while identifying student goals, academic background, and admissions concerns.
Coordinate and manage Advisor calendars while maintaining strong organization and high meeting show-up rates.
Consistently follow up with leads inside Close.io through structured communication workflows to ensure no opportunity goes cold.
Become a trusted first impression for families by combining professionalism, empathy, confidence, and strong communication skills.
Focus on booking high-quality appointments that ultimately convert into enrolled students and successful long-term client relationships.
You naturally build rapport, communicate with confidence, and bring positive energy into every interaction.
You understand that successful follow-up is part of the process and are comfortable handling objections, hesitation, and ongoing communication.
You focus on understanding family needs rather than pressuring people into decisions.
You can confidently manage multiple conversations, calendars, follow-ups, and CRM workflows simultaneously.
You move comfortably between Zoom, Slack, Close.io, Calendly, Google Workspace, Loom, and modern AI-powered tools.
While prior admissions experience is not required, having familiarity with the U.S. college admissions landscape, student concerns, and family dynamics is a strong advantage.

Loom is preferred, but we accept any video link format, including Google Drive, YouTube, Vimeo, or similar platforms.
The video introduction helps us better understand your communication style, confidence, energy, and ability to build connection in a highly people-facing role.
You may use the video to briefly introduce yourself, share your sales or customer-facing experience, and explain how you approach follow-up, relationship-building, and communication with prospective clients.
We’re excited to learn more about you and your story.
