About Elephant & Co.

Elephant & Co. is a family of companies focused on fermentation. From beer to pizza, everything we do is built on three values: Being Intentional. Staying Scrappy. Spreading Kindness. It all started in 2017 in the heart of Detroit’s Eastern Market with Eastern Market Brewing Co. and has since expanded with ventures in new locations!

This isn't just a job, it's a place to create unforgettable memories while creating camaraderie with a group of passionate professionals that encourages creativity, experimentation, and the pursuit of perfection in every pour.

• Creating a welcoming and enthusiastic customer experience by determining their beverage interests and needs
• Educating guests by presenting and explaining the menu
• Educates guests by presenting and explaining different flavors and styles of the taproom beer menu
• Taking food orders through counter service, and running food to tables as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers
• Managing point of sale and additional operational needs
• Continually improving personal knowledge of craft beer
• Completing opening or closing checklists (such as mopping the floor at closing)

Requirements

• Have a passion for creating memorable customer experiences
• 1 year of experience in in-person customer service required
• Availability to work part-time (average 4 shifts per week) on weekdays and weekends.
• Availability to work closing taproom shifts ending approx.
• Interest in craft beer is preferred but not required
• Must be 21+
