Everyday Speech

Demand Generation Manager

Everyday Speech is a no-prep digital curriculum that makes teaching social, behavioral, and communication skills easy and effective. The MTSS-aligned curriculum combines evidence-based video modeling, interactive web games, and worksheets to provide educators everything they need to support both neurodiverse and neurotypical PK-12 students. Everyday Speech is trusted by 50,000+ special educators, speech-language pathologists, counselors, and other specialists for targeted interventions and whole-class lessons that help students build the skills they need to thrive.

Everyday Speech is right for you if:

You care about making a positive impact.

End each day knowing your work directly impacted educators across North America in our mission to build the most impactful PreK-12 social skills curriculum and make teaching it effortless. Success goes beyond shipping features here; we’re improving the lives of educators and their students. To achieve this, we create meaningful content, stay closely connected to our users, and maintain consistently high NPS scores as a fully bootstrapped company growing organically and sustainably.

You value being a part of a company that takes care of its team.

Not only do we have extremely happy team members, we also have incredible perks. Participate in our health/wellness and retirement benefit offerings, and between having every other Friday off (3-day weekends!) and our flexible PTO plan, that elusive work-life balance is an actual thing here. We’ve also never had an office and never will. We take remote work seriously and know how to support a distributed team. We give you the flexibility to work in a way that’s best for you, but still have high standards and accountability. These are just some of the reasons why our eNPS score from 2025 was 78.

You want to be at a company whose values are more than just words on a wall.

Our values are at the forefront of our decisions, how we recognize each other, how we challenge ourselves—everything we do. Our values mean something, and with that guiding light, we are able to land with clarity, create alignment, identify our strengths, and move with purpose. Hear it directly from a team member: “I love the values. I never imagined I could end up in a position that was so connected to the things that mattered to me most”.

As a member of the Growth team, the Demand Generation Manager will own how educators discover and choose to try Everyday Speech, through product-led content drawn from our product and the clinical expertise behind it. This is an individual contributor role for a strategic marketer and strong writer who can set the demand strategy and also do the work: create, publish, promote, measure, and iterate.

You will own net-new demand across webinars, community and creators, partnerships, email, paid social, website content and search, including AI answers. You'll partner closely with our clinical team, who bring the expertise that makes our content credible, and with the rest of the marketing team and Sales to make sure content reaches the right people and moves them forward.

The ideal candidate is extremely values aligned:

● We start with empathy— in the work we do and the people we do it with. Our strength comes from a culture that values candidness, trust, and valuing our teammates as whole human beings. We care, challenge, and communicate. We are serious about our responsibility to educators, who rely on us every day.

● We ruthlessly prioritize. We don ’t just say no to the obvious stuff, we say no to the things that feel important in the moment because we understand anything we say yes to is inherently saying no to something else.

● We create momentum. We don’t let the small stuff hold us back. We learn by shipping. We know most actions are reversible and that action always wins in the long run. If all else fails, bias towards action.

● We are fearlessly objective. We don't do things just because we're "supposed to." We constantly ask "why" and don’t let conventional norms define our efforts. We're not afraid to seek answers, even if that means discovering we were wrong. We focus on what delivers results, regardless of the source.

● We exercise agency. We have the ability to create systems that don’t yet exist to get what we need or to solve problems no one has identified. If something isn’t working, it’s within our control to fix it.

● We’re driven to grow. We set ambitious goals because we want to maximize our impact. We embrace challenges and take risks, seeing failures as opportunities to learn and improve. We seek out feedback and coaching and thrive in environments that push us.

Your work will have a significant impact on how we drive new contacts, product signups, and pipeline, and will shape how educators and district leaders come to know and trust Everyday Speech.

In this role, you will:

  • Own Everyday Speech's demand generation strategy and product-led content calendar, planned around the school year, choosing the topics and formats that drive new contacts, form submissions, and product sign-ups.
  • Decide which channels we invest in, including new ones, how we show up on each, and how each moves educators into and through the funnel.
  • Lead with product-led content: our free resources, lead magnets, and SEO pages come from the product itself, so educators experience Everyday Speech through the content they find.
  • Own all website content, including resources, blog posts, landing pages and lead magnets, and the path from content to signup: CTAs, gated and ungated offers, and conversion testing.
  • Own our webinar program end to end: topics, speakers, CEU partnerships, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Partner with our clinical team to turn their expertise into content, including organic social, and to put their credibility in front of the educators who trust it.
  • Grow co-marketing partnerships with associations, CEU providers, and aligned organizations, from co-hosted webinars to guest content.
  • Own and produce our monthly content email calendar, grow our email audience, and build campaigns that distribute content.
  • Own paid promotion as a core lever, building on our Meta ads strategy and testing other paid channels.
  • Own search as one channel among many, including SEO and especially AEO, so educators find us in search results and in AI-generated answers.
  • Partner with the marketing team on case studies, customer stories, account-based content, and enablement content for Sales and Customer Success, leading development where relevant.
  • Shape how we tell the Everyday Speech story and set the standards behind it: voice and style guide, clinical accuracy review, and a high bar for AI-assisted work.
  • Own demand results (new contacts, product signups, webinar registrations and pipeline contribution), treating content as an experiment and reporting on what works.

What We’re Looking For

In addition to values alignment…

  • 5+ years in growth marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or EdTech with a product-led motion, including time owning a content strategy rather than only executing one.
  • A track record of growing leads and pipeline across multiple channels. SEO experience and a point of view on how AI search is changing it are a plus.
  • Exceptional writing and editing. You make complex topics clear and useful, and you can tell expert content from generic content.
  • Experience translating subject-matter expertise (clinical, education, or similar) into content that practitioners trust.
  • Experience running webinars or events that drive registrations and follow-up engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with paid social and content promotion, including managing contractors or agencies.
  • A data-driven approach: you set goals, read the numbers in HubSpot, Google Analytics, or Semrush, and change course without being told.
  • Strong project management. You can run an editorial calendar across several stakeholders and contractors and ship on time.
  • Thoughtful use of AI in your workflow, paired with high standards for originality and accuracy.
  • Genuine interest in K-12 education and empathy for the SLPs, special educators, and counselors we serve. Familiarity with school audiences or district buying is a plus.
  • High ownership: you treat content like your part of the business and follow through.

We know great candidates come from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re passionate about what we’re building at Everyday Speech, don’t hesitate to apply—even if you’re not sure you meet every qualification.

In the short term (the first 3 months), you will:

  • Audit our existing website content, search performance, conversion paths, and content library to find what still works, what's outdated, and the biggest gaps to close first.
  • Build a 6-month content plan tied to Growth team goals, with clear success metrics for each channel.
  • Take over active SEO and AEO projects and contractor relationships as part of the broader channel plan.
  • Relaunch a regular webinar program, with a calendar of topics and speakers.
  • Set up a working rhythm with the clinical team for content and social, including review and approval workflows.
  • Learn our audience by talking with educators, shadowing Sales and Customer Success, and reviewing what our best-performing content has in common.
  • Establish a monthly reporting cadence on each channel's contribution to new contacts, signups, and pipeline.

In the Long term, you will:

  • Own a demand engine that reliably drives a measurable share of new contacts, product signups, and pipeline.
  • Grow organic search and AI answer visibility for the topics our audience cares about most.
  • Run a webinar program that educators look forward to and that consistently fills the top of the funnel.
  • Support district expansion with ABM content and the case studies and customer stories our teams need.
  • Build a community of educator advocates, creators, and partners who extend our reach well beyond our own channels.
  • Turn our clinical team's credibility into a durable trust asset across social, webinars, and the website.
  • Build the case for scaling demand, documenting what it produces, what it requires, and where more investment would pay off.
