Pay: $18–$20 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This part-time position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable process, including tracking incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and communicating with clients regarding outstanding balances.

This role requires someone who is comfortable making daily phone calls to clients and following up professionally and consistently on outstanding accounts. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through are essential.

The position will initially work in our Baton Rouge office Monday through Friday, with the potential for some work-from-home flexibility after successfully completing the introductory period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous accounts receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and accounting or financial software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and confidence communicating with clients by phone
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and follow through on outstanding accounts
• Ability to handle confidential financial and client information professionally
• Must be available to work up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in our Baton Rouge office during the introductory period
