Maintenance Technician – Sandalfoot Condominium Association

Tuesday - Saturday Full-Time (40hrs) $25 - $28 hourly

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of the Sandalfoot Condominium Association managed by Gulf Coast Property Management. This role ensures that all common areas, building systems, and amenities are maintained in a safe, clean, and operational condition. Rental repairs are completed through express authority of the rental division only

 

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance & Repairs

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, lighting, and minor HVAC systems (that do not require a special license)

- Repair doors, locks, windows, drywall, and perform minor carpentry for common area

- Respond to common area maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently

 Preventative Maintenance

- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and common areas

- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules

- Identify and report potential issues

Grounds & Common Areas

- Maintain cleanliness of walkways, stairwells, parking areas, and amenities

- Assist with minor landscaping support

Vendor Coordination

- Assist in coordinating vendors and contractors

- Ensure work is completed per scope and standards

- Report vendor performance to management

Emergency Response

- Respond to after-hours emergencies as required

- Address urgent safety issues

Compliance & Safety

- Follow OSHA and safety guidelines

- Report hazards immediately


Qualifications

- 2+ years maintenance experience
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, general maintenance
- Ability to use tools safely
- Strong problem-solving skills
