We’re looking for a Dispatcher to join our skilled and dedicated team. You’ll be part of a close-knit crew that values craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Whether you're working on a mining truck windshield or a commercial van side window, your work will directly impact the performance and safety of our clients’ fleets.


🔧 What You’ll Do

As a Dispatcher at FGS, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Create and optimize daily routes for mobile glass technicians based on location, job type, urgency, and technician skill level
  • Schedule windshield repair and replacement services for fleet and commercial accounts
  • Adjust routes in real time to account for delays, cancellations, traffic, parts availability, or emergency jobs
  • Balance same‑day service requests with pre‑scheduled appointments to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure routes minimize drive time while meeting customer service expectations and SLA commitments
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field technicians throughout the day
  • Communicate job details, service updates, and schedule changes clearly and accurately
  • Monitor technician progress and job status to ensure on‑time completion
  • Coordinate equipment, materials, and glass availability prior to dispatch
  • Support technicians with problem‑solving while in the field
  • Schedule and confirm service appointments with fleet managers and commercial customers
  • Provide proactive updates regarding arrival times, delays, or reschedules
  • Handle customer inquiries and service issues professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain strong working relationships with repeat fleet customers
  • Use dispatching and service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, GPS/route optimization tools) to:
    • Build and manage routes
    • Track job progress and technician locations
    • Maintain accurate customer and job records
  • Document notes, changes, and communication in the system
  • Ensure accuracy of service details prior to technician arrival


✅ Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher, service coordinator, or scheduler, preferably in fleet, automotive, or field service operations
  • Proven experience creating, managing, and optimizing daily routes for mobile technicians or drivers
  • Experience supporting mobile service teams and coordinating multiple jobs per day
  • Strong understanding of routing factors such as geography, urgency, technician skill level, and drive time
  • Comfortable communicating with both field technicians and commercial/fleet customers
  • Experience using dispatching, CRM, or service management software
    (ServiceTitan or similar platforms preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • High sense of accountability, reliability, and teamwork
