We are seeking a passionate, high-caliber Bilingual Assistant Director (Spanish/English) to join our Houston campus leadership team. In this role, you will partner closely with the Center Director to manage daily school operations, lead parent engagement, and mentor our teaching faculty. Because this role requires constant, high-level communication with our diverse community, fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both Spanish and English is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teacher Mentorship: Support, coach, and develop our teaching teams through ongoing training, observations, and instructional feedback.
  • Curriculum Support: Oversee the implementation of Kïdo’s globally inspired curriculum, ensuring classroom environments remain inspiring, clean, and engaging.
  • Center Growth: Lead local sales and marketing efforts, conduct campus tours for prospective families, and actively drive student enrollment.
  • Texas Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with all Texas HHS Child Care Regulation Minimum Standards and local health/safety guidelines.
  • Family Engagement: Build deep, positive relationships with families and staff by providing proactive, responsive communication in both English and Spanish.

Required Qualifications

  • Language Fluency: Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Education & Credentials: Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential OR a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4 or more years of verified experience in a licensed childcare facility or daycare center working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of previous childcare administrative leadership experience.
