About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of the hotel’s public spaces, helping create the polished and welcoming environment our guests expect.

The ideal candidate takes pride in the details, enjoys being part of a guest-facing environment, and understands that exceptional hospitality extends to every corner of the hotel.

What you'll do

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest spaces
• Interact warmly and professionally with guests while providing assistance as needed
• Clean, maintain, and regularly inspect assigned areas throughout the shift
• Restock public area supplies and amenities to ensure spaces remain guest-ready
• Identify and report maintenance issues or areas requiring additional attention
• Work closely with Housekeeping and other hotel teams to maintain Bardo’s standards of cleanliness and presentation

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel or hospitality environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, polished spaces
• Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine commitment to guest service
• Ability to respond to guest requests professionally and efficiently
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position throughout the workday
