Summary: The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the operational efforts of parts, service and rental across multiple locations within an assigned region.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversees daily operation of the business, including workflow through the various departments. 
  • Optimize individual and team performance through collecting, monitoring, and publishing achieved KPIs against agreed upon targets. 
  • Monitor, analyze and report profit and loss for each location to ensure each location is profitable. 
  • Control costs and expenses through the implementation of overhead expenses, approves facility improvements. 
  • Oversee the management of parts inventory, ensure timely counts and accuracy. 
  • Coach and mentor Operations Managers in the areas of store operations, parts and Inventory management, rentals, scheduling, safety, training and staffing.
  • Conduct monthly branch inspections. 
  • Create and establish SOPs for branch operations. 
  • Manage fleet vehicles. 
  • Serve as primary contact for accounting issues between customers and vendors. 
  • Ensure safety measures are adhered to and met at all times. 
  • Lead weekly L10 meetings. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above preferred.
  • Three years’ experience in branch management and customer service. 
  • Understanding of a profit and loss statement. 
  • Knowledge of construction equipment or dealership experience. 
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general knowledge of dealer business systems. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, and team first mentality.
