About the role


We are seeking an energetic, highly organized individual oversee the accounts payable and bookkeeping processes for the company’s US and Canada locations. In this role you will you oversee processing and payment of all vendor invoices and recurring monthly payments. You will also support the month end account reconcilliation process. You will report to and work closely with the Financial Controller and also work closely with the Financial Accountant to enhance the existing payables process to optimize efficiency and controls.  

 

Please note this position is full-time at our Fishers, Indiana office. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payables for US and Canada invoices, sales taxes, and office expenses and vendor administration. 
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for selected accounts. 
  • Assist in expense budget preparation and tracking of performance vs budget. 
  • Assist in responding to ad hoc reporting requests from corporate. 
  • Cross train to support other areas of the administration team as needed. 
  • Assist the administrative team with designing best‑practice workflows for accounts payable.

Qualifications

  • 2 or 4 year degree or equivalent work experience in accounting/accounts payable 
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks or similar accounting systems 
  • Excellent Communication skills 
  • Must be able to handle confidential information appropriately
