What will you be doing?

Your typical daily duties will include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to specifications and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Test electrical systems and components to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate work and address concerns.


Requirements

  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.
  • Valid electrician license or certification.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in various environments and conditions.
  • Ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as required.

Education/Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and has a valid state Journeyworker’s license in the applicable state in which the electrician works out of.
