Overview

The Solutions Architect partners with Sales, Engineering, Product, and customers to design infrastructure solutions that align with business and technical requirements. This role serves as the primary technical advisor throughout the pre-sales process, leading solution discovery, architecture design, technical presentations, and proposal development. The Solutions Architect is responsible for translating customer requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions while providing technical expertise that supports successful customer outcomes and drives business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business objectives, technical requirements, and infrastructure challenges.
  • Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and bare-metal environments.
  • Partner with the Sales team throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, including customer onboarding, solution scoping, RFP/RFI responses, and technical solution estimation.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and solution overviews to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop solution architecture documentation, technical diagrams, cost estimates, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to support customer proposals.
  • Collaborate with Product Management by providing customer feedback and recommending enhancements that influence the product roadmap.
  • Coordinate with vendors, supply chain teams, and internal stakeholders to align hardware availability and deployment timelines.
  • Stay current on emerging infrastructure technologies, hosting platforms, cloud services, and industry trends.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers by serving as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales engagement.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and operationally feasible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Multiple sales opportunities are effectively managed simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and bare-metal environments.
  • Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, system architecture, and infrastructure technologies, including VLANs, RAID, CPU architecture, IP networking, IP routing, and BGP.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA reference architectures and GPU infrastructure design, including GPU cluster networking and InfiniBand/NVLink technologies.
  • Ability to design scalable, highly available, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution designs.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills with customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills across Sales, Engineering, Product, and customer teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and onsite engagements as needed.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.




Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing AI/ML infrastructure solutions using NVIDIA reference architectures, including DGX, HGX, and GPU cluster networking.
  • Previous experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar customer-facing technical consulting role.
  • Experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related infrastructure engineering role.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with enterprise bare-metal server hardware and hosting infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
  • Experience with scripting or automation languages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another STEM-related field.
