About the role
- We are seeking a dedicated and professional Billing Assistant to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in collections, preferably within an Asset Management company or a Law Firm.
- Native proficiency in Turkish and at least a B1 level of proficiency in English are required, along with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Working hours for this role are between 09:00 and 17:00 according to the Pacific Time Zone where our office is open, which corresponds to 19:00 in the evening and 03:00 in the morning TR time.
What you'll do
- Contact clients to discuss billing-related inquiries and address any concerns.
- Prepare and generate client invoices on time, adhering to billing guidelines.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure accurate and complete billing documentation.
- Monitor and track payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and provide reports as needed.
- Assist with reconciling discrepancies between invoices and payments.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
- Use experience in collections to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding accounts.
- Apply knowledge of asset management or legal billing practices in daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in collections (preferably in Asset Management or Law Firm environments).
- Native proficiency in Turkish, with at least a B1 level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in billing, accounting, or finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with legal billing software (preferred).
- Integrity, patience, and professionalism.
- The ability to work remotely with reliable internet access is a must.
- Must have a personal computer capable of handling work tasks and reliable internet connectivity.
- Must possess a smartphone with internet capability and the ability to download necessary applications.
