Full-time roles are available with a variety of business operations teams across the company including business development, market access, finance, purchasing, supply chain and business operations in Los Angeles. 


Qualifications

Graduate of bachelor’s degree or graduate degree program by the start of employment

3+ years experience in corporate and business functions (data analysis, finance, human resources, IT, government affairs, legal, and supply chain management is applicable)

Applicant for this intern position must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., green card holder), (iii) U.S. visa holder with proper U.S. work authorization (e.g. F-1 Visa - Academic Student), (iv) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (v) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.


Preferred Skills and Experience

GPA of 3.5 or above

Strong interpersonal skills (examples: leading a student organization or working successfully in teams)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to work cross-functionally with different groups and teams

Program Descriptions

At Omnis, we’re leveraging our team’s experience in building LEO constellations, including the world’s most advanced broadband internet systems. We design, procure/build, test, and operate all parts of the system – thousands of satellites with cutting edge communications payloads, open reference designs for consumer receivers that allow users to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. This program includes roles in: Analysis, Automation & Controls, Avionics, Components Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Integration & Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Operations Engineering, Structures Design & Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering and more.


Compensation and Benefits

Your salary will be determined by professional experience and demonstrated track-record of delivering compelling business results. Omnis offers 10 or more paid holidays per year.


Functions

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKET ACCESS: Develops and is responsible for cultivating relationships with key customers in priority countries and identifying in-country stakeholders including mobile network operators, ministries of communications and other ecosystem partners. Interns in this group will drive initiatives to research market context, identify risks and opportunities, and improve marketing and pitch materials to ensure Omnis is positioned to make a country-specific offer that cannot be refused. There are roles in 

OMNIS BUSINESS OPERATIONS: Develops and is responsible for the acquisition and success of Omnis customers, serving as the main interface between Omnis customers and Omnis. Interns in this group will drive initiatives to grow the customer base, create processes to better the customer experience, and improve efficiencies to ensure Omnis is meeting its customer demand. There are roles in product management, business analytics, and operations management.

FINANCE: The finance organization owns all aspects of accounting and finance for Omnis’s operations. You will be a key contributor in automating processes, managing projects, and tracking the performance of our manufacturing and supply chain teams.

PURCHASING: The Omnis purchasing team is responsible for ensuring lowest product cost and risk through supplier management, strategic negotiations; spend analysis and continuous process improvement. An intern joining this team would expect to gain first-hand experience analyzing supplier and spend data, communicating with suppliers, purchasing direct and/or indirect goods or services, and support of various projects like creating and implementing new processes.

SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS OPERATIONS: Improves and develops the business processes that enable Omnis to design, build, launch and reuse the most advanced rockets in the world. Interns in this group will help innovate and improve efficiencies to ensure that the Supply Chain team is continuously evolving to meet its internal customer demands and to achieve Omnis’s overall mission of connecting all humans on Earth.
