DevOps Platform Enablement Lead

About PureFacts Financial Solutions

PureFacts is the leader in the Revenue Performance Management category for wealth and asset management firms. The PureRevenue™ Platform helps organizations maximize revenue potential by connecting pricing, billing, compensation, advisor behavior, and AI-powered intelligence within a single Revenue Book of Record. By transforming fragmented revenue processes into a coordinated growth system, firms gain greater visibility, stronger pricing discipline, improved revenue capture, and more effective advisor alignment. The result is faster organic growth, improved profitability, and increased enterprise value. For more than 25 years, PureFacts has helped leading financial institutions turn revenue from an operational process into a strategic advantage.

At PureFacts, we are building an AI-native platform and company. We embed AI, intelligent automation, and agentic workflows across our products and operations to detect anomalies, surface insights, streamline repetitive work, and support faster, better decision-making. In a highly regulated industry, we believe AI must be practical, governed, and auditable—amplifying human expertise while helping our teams and clients focus on higher-value, strategic work.

About the role

Our technology organization is evolving from maintaining products to building a platform. We have separated our engineering operations into two focused groups — Service Reliability (“run the business”) and Service Innovation (“change the business”) — so each can move quickly without bottlenecks or interdependencies.

The DevOps Platform Enablement (DPE) Lead sits at the heart of Service Innovation. You will own our CI/CD pipelines, platform build, and engineering enablement — the “paved road” that lets every engineering team ship faster and more safely with less manual work. Your mandate is to push the platform forward: modern delivery pipelines, developer experience, automation, security shift-left controls, architecture evolution, and tech-debt reduction.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will build and mentor a team of professionals, set the technical direction, and partner closely with the Service Reliability Engineering and Operations leads, and product engineering. In our model DevSecOps is embedded — not a separate central team — so security and quality controls live directly in the pipelines you own. A central objective is self-service enablement and AI-enabled operations (AIOps): giving teams a single, shared view of system health and the ability to deploy without waiting on another team’s backlog.

What you'll do

  • Own and evolve the CI/CD platform — design, build, and maintain delivery pipelines that let engineering teams deploy to DEV and QAT independently, and enable Service Innovation and Reliability teams to promote changes through SAT, UAT, and PRD without cross-team dependencies.
  • Build the “paved road” for engineering — self-service tooling, golden templates, and reusable infrastructure-as-code so teams provision and ship with guardrails rather than tickets.
  • Embed security shift-left — integrate SAST/DAST, dependency and secrets scanning, and compliance gates directly into the pipeline, with automated defect and exception logging.
  • Drive automation and reduce operational toil — eliminate repetitive manual release and provisioning work so engineers spend more time building.
  • Advance platform architecture — lead infrastructure and developer-experience improvements, modernization, and tech-debt reduction across Azure and AWS cloud environments.
  • Enable AIOps and observability — stand up shared telemetry, monitoring, and AI-assisted incident detection so teams have a single view of system health across environments.
  • Lead and grow the team — hire, mentor, and develop engineers; set technical standards; and provide strong technical leadership and decision-making within your charter.
  • Partner across the organization — work with Service Reliability (SRE/SRO), product engineering, and Information Security & Compliance to deliver reliably and securely.
  • Maintain clear documentation and governance for tooling, environment provisioning, deployments, change management, and cost control.
  • Prepare and own customer application migration activities from a technical perspective.

Measurements of Success

  • Engineering teams self-serve deployments to DEV and QAT, and Service Innovation teams promote to SAT/UAT/PRD, with no cross-team dependency or hand-off delays.
  • Automated, zero-downtime deployments of the SaaS platform across all environments, with environment provisioning fully templated (Terraform or equivalent).
  • SAST/DAST, compliance, and automated testing toolsets integrated into the CI/CD pipeline with automated result and exception logging; security-gate bypasses near zero.
  • Reduced operational toil and faster delivery — measurable drop in manual release effort and lead time for changes.
  • Effective use of cloud autoscaling and platform optimization resulting in reduced infrastructure cost-to-serve.
  • Established, well-governed processes for environment provisioning, code deployment, change management, and cost control.
  • A capable, motivated team with clear ownership, strong engineering practices, and a healthy delivery cadence.

Qualifications

Experience & Leadership

  • Have 5+ years in DevOps, platform, or site-reliability engineering, including experience leading or mentoring engineers.
  • Are passionate about building systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, and scalable — and about automating everything.
  • Can set technical direction and make sound decisions while staying hands-on with the platform.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills and enjoy enabling other engineering teams.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Containerization and orchestration — Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure-as-code in Terraform
  • CI/CD toolsets — Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity or similar.
  • Scripting and coding — PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Code and package repositories — Git, npm, NuGet — and build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Cake.
  • Security testing toolsets — SAST/DAST such as SonarQube, Invicti, or equivalents — integrated into pipelines.
  • Observability, monitoring, and log-aggregation practices; exposure to AIOps is an asset.
