Position Summary

Recom is seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of assigned departments within our fulfillment and logistics facility in Buford, Georgia. This role is responsible for leading frontline associates, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and delivering exceptional productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy.


The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily activities including inbound receiving, FBA preparation, inventory control, outbound shipping, and returns processing. Success in this role requires strong leadership, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of warehouse associates and team leads to achieve productivity, quality, safety, and customer service goals.
  • Ensure daily work assignments are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor workflow throughout the shift and adjust labor resources to meet operational priorities.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inventory management, product preparation, shipping, and returns processing.
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices while maintaining compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
    • Productivity
    • Inventory accuracy
    • Order accuracy
    • On-time shipment
    • Lead time
    • Safety performance
    • Labor utilization
  • Conduct daily start-up meetings and communicate operational priorities, safety topics, and performance expectations.
  • Coach, train, and develop associates to improve performance and support career growth.
  • Assist with employee performance evaluations, attendance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions in partnership with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Amazon FBA requirements, customer specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and support cycle count and reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
  • Support new customer implementations, operational changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Inventory Control, Transportation, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
  • 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping processes.
  • Proven experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to analyze operational metrics and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Amazon FBA, e-commerce fulfillment, or third-party logistics preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk and stand on the warehouse floor for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, or alternate shifts as business needs require.
