About the role
This is a professional accounting position, which reports to the Director of Accounting and works independently with minimal supervision in computing, analyzing, interpreting, and posting for the purpose of preparing financial reconciliations and financial reports. The incumbent will make independent decisions to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities. |

What you'll do
· Support month‑end close activities for India and U.S.-based entities · Prepare and post journal entries · Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations · Process accounts payable for India and assist with AP for other regions as needed · Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records · Coordinate with external accounting firms to support India statutory and compliance requirements · Reconcile balance sheet accounts · Process invoices for payment · Post payments and charges · Process Bank deposits · Analyze and resolve customer issues |
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles procedures and practices
• Skilled in analyzing, auditing, reconciling and processing accounting transactions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to utilize problem solving techniques
• Skilled in planning, coordinating and tracking work assignments to meet deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills; experience with Rippling preferred.

Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock from office equipment and related items. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Work Hours: This position requires a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Daily work schedules are assigned by senior management. The role requires availability for team collaboration between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. India Standard Time (IST), which corresponds to 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) in the United States. This collaboration window can be performed entirely on a work‑from‑home basis and will not require late night presence at the office. This position will require occasional office attendance, with the exact schedule to be assigned by the management.
