Partnerships Activation Manager

Role Overview

We’re looking for a sharp, organized, and technically proficient Partnerships Activation Manager to join our Partnerships Team and elevate how we develop, plan & execute integrated brand partnerships. This role sits at the heart of client services, operations, and real-time execution, creating the best possible experiences for our partners across Evo, our flagship FGC property, as well as creator programs, and beyond.


As the Partnerships Activation Manager, you’ll collaborate across teams to drive the pre-sales, planning & on the ground execution of brand activations that create meaningful fan experiences that deliver on our partners goals. Working hand-in-hand with the Partnerships Sales Team, Operations, Production, Product, and external partners, you’ll guide initiatives from ideation to execution by delivering seamless logistics & project management.


This is a highly collaborative and logistical role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, bringing a solutions oriented approach, and can problem resolve executional challenges in real time.


Reporting Structure

You will report to RTS’s Senior Director of Partner Strategy.


Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Logistics Planning
  • Identify executional components of partnerships driven ideas, detailing key elements, budgeting requirements & potential vendor resource needs.
  • Proactive problem solving that finds the most efficient path to execute partner activation ideas.
  • Real-time and quick turn budget development, ensuring proposed client activations can be executed within project scope once approved.
  • Regularly meet with Operations team to understand current resources and bandwidth status that can be leveraged for partner activations.
  • Conduct research on new market technologies, potential vendors, and current standard rates.
  • Ensure all logistics and related budget output is aligned with both client goals and RTS’ internal goals and standards.
Post-Sales Execution & Management
  • Manage partner activation from the planning phase through the onsite execution.
  • Work with the event operations teams to establish final project budgets, procuring equipment and vendor services for partner activations.
  • Procure & contract any 3rd party operations or vendor partners critical to partner activation initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales/Partnerships account managers and Operations for real-time project tracking and client status updates.
  • Attend pre-planning meetings with the client and account manager.
  • Understand and communicate the information provided in the General Contractor Exhibitor handbook including scheduling, shipping, material handling, equipment orders and payment.
  • Lead onsite set-up and teardown potentially across multiple activations.


Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years in experiential marketing or live event production and project management.
  • Portfolio or case studies highlighting previous projects.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing small, medium & large-scale brand activations.
  • Excellent project management skills inclusive of stakeholder, budget and timeline management.
  • Proven client-facing experience is essential, providing real-time problem solving to achieve project goals.
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace and presentation tools (Slides, Docs, etc.)
  • Experience with project management software is a plus (ClickUp, Airtable, Monday, etc.)
  • Experience with or willingness to learn audience insights tools like GWI and YouGov is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to build trust, navigate ambiguity, and bring people together around a common goal.
  • Based in California (San Francisco or Los Angeles metro areas) or Nevada (Las Vegas metro area).


Compensation

The salary for this role is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 depending on experience.
