Position Overview
The Aesthetic Field Manager (AFM) is responsible for ensuring clinical compliance, exceptional treatment outcomes, and consistent delivery of SEV service standards, while driving business performance across a portfolio of offices.
This role leads through the in-office provider team, driving excellence in treatment quality, client experience, and protocol adherence as the foundation of the business. The AFM partners closely with the District Manager as a peer leader, with shared accountability for business performance and profitability.
Core Areas of Focus
- Clinical Compliance & Safety First: Ensure strict adherence to all SEV clinical protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
- Treatment Quality & Outcomes: Drive consistent, high-quality treatment delivery and strong client results.
- Deliver the SEV Experience: Ensure providers execute SEV service standards consistently across all client interactions.
- Drive Provider Performance: Improve provider-led KPIs including conversion, new treatment trial, rebooking, OSAT and named 5-star reviews.
- Own Business Outcomes: Partner with District Manager to deliver revenue, utilization, and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Compliance, Safety & Treatment Outcomes
- Ensure all services are delivered in full compliance with SEV clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular in-room observations and audits to assess protocol adherence, treatment quality, and client outcomes.
- Ensure timely audit of all providers, with particular focus on providers where client satisfaction and/or clinical outcomes indicate a training opportunity.
- Maintain high standards in clinical documentation, charting accuracy, and compliance readiness.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for any clinical customer relations questions, adverse events, or client recovery opportunities.
- Take immediate action to address any gaps in compliance or treatment quality.
Service Excellence & SEV Standards Execution
- Ensure providers consistently deliver the SEV experience as designed, from consultation through treatment and handoff.
- Reinforce behaviors that drive OSAT (“highly satisfied”) and 5-star reviews, including communication, confidence, and client care.
- Partner with Office Managers to ensure seamless coordination between provider and reception experience.
Provider Performance & Sales Through Education
- Drive provider performance across key KPIs, including:
- Clinical and regulatory compliance
- OSAT and review performance
- Package and membership conversion
- Trial conversion
- Rebooking rates
- Services per hour / productivity
- Coach providers on consultative selling, treatment planning, and client communication to improve outcomes and revenue.
- Reinforce “every client, every time” behaviors in treatment rooms.
Business Performance & Partnership with District Manager
- Partner with the District Manager as a co-owner of performance across the region.
- Contribute directly to achieving GAAP and Cash revenue targets, >90% room utilization, and profitability metrics.
- Identify provider-level performance gaps and implement targeted coaching and development plans.
- Align on priorities, office-level action plans, and performance management.
- Ensure alignment between clinical execution and operational goals, including room utilization (>90%) and service efficiency.
- Partner with Office Managers on provider scheduling, coverage, and productivity optimization.
- Ensure readiness for new services, promotions, and protocol updates.
Training, Coaching & Talent Development
- Own onboarding and training of all new providers, either directly or through coordination with approved provider trainers.
- Ensure all providers are fully trained and signed off on SEV standards prior to independent treatment.
- Provide ongoing, hands-on coaching in the field.
- Assess provider capability and create targeted development plans to elevate both technical skill and performance.
- Reinforce provider adherence to treatment workflows as part of coaching, ensuring consistency in both clinical execution and client experience.
- Support career pathing and retention through continuous development.
- Assess quality and effectiveness of training conducted by approved provider trainers, and provide support and coaching where necessary.
New Office Openings & Program Implementation
- Lead clinical training for new office openings, including services, protocols, laser safety, and SEV standards.
- Support rollout of new services, promotions, and initiatives across the region.
Talent Management & Pipeline
- Ensure offices maintain sufficient trained provider coverage to meet client demand.
- Identify gaps in capability or capacity and partner on hiring and onboarding plans.
- Drive provider retention through a strong culture, coaching, and development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as a subject matter expert and may be called upon to participate in cross-functional committees supporting the development of new services, protocols, and training programs.
- Act as an integral part of the feedback loop, providing insights on how programs, protocols, and initiatives translate to both the client and employee experience. Surface trends related to provider execution, system usage, and client experience to support continuous improvement and scalability.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and partner with leadership to enhance training, service delivery, and operational execution.

Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience working with laser technology and skin services in the aesthetics industry.
- Active clinical license (RN, NP, PA, or Licensed Aesthetician appropriate for region).
- Strong expertise in treatment delivery, safety protocols, and client consultation.
- Proven ability to coach providers to improve both clinical quality and business performance.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven, KPI-focused environment.
- Experience with Zenoti or similar systems preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly within region.
Work Environment & Schedule
This role requires a consistent in-field presence to effectively coach providers and support offices.
- Expected in-office presence: 4–5 days per week across assigned locations.
- Minimum expectation: in-office presence every Friday and every other Saturday.
- Availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, with additional coverage as needed based on business demand, staffing needs, and peak periods.
- Travel requirement: Up to 75% travel within the district, may include overnight travel.
- Must be available by phone during operating hours for clinical escalations as needed.
- May be required to fill provider shifts in emergency situations to support business continuity.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform treatments when required.
- Ability to hold laser handpieces for extended periods (up to ~1.5 hours).
- Ability to lift equipment up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive fine motor movements that require precision and steady hand control.
