  • Experience integrating carrier or SIP-trunk providers in production.
  • Comfortable debugging live calls with packet captures, for example Wireshark.
  • Uses AI tools to work faster while retaining responsibility for design, architecture, and judgment calls.
  • Comfortable carrying a pager and leading incident response on an always-on service.

Skills & Experience Required - Desirable

  • Emergency-calling experience, such as E911/NG911 or international equivalents.
  • Number porting and provisioning at scale.
  • Experience running self-hosted real-time media infrastructure.
  • Multi-region or multi-carrier telecom exposure.
  • American Sign Language (ASL) knowledge is a strong plus.

Our Stack

  • WebRTC and self-hosted real-time media infrastructure.
  • SIP and telephony through specialist carrier partners.
  • TypeScript / Node ecosystem.
  • PostgreSQL, Redis, websocket, and event-driven services.
  • Cloud infrastructure, containers, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD.
