About the Role

Smarthost Design Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Senior SailPoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA), USAidam Professional Support Services program.


The Senior SailPoint SME will provide senior-level technical expertise for the design, development, operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the USAidam SailPoint IdentityIQ environment. The position will support identity governance and administration, workflows, connectors, integrations, synchronization and correlation processes, code review, troubleshooting, and technical guidance to junior team members.


This is a full-time position supporting a Federal Government contract, with a target start date of September 29, 2026.


What you'll do

  • Provide senior-level technical support for the USAidam SailPoint IdentityIQ environment.
  • Design, develop, configure, maintain, and enhance SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions.
  • Develop and maintain identity governance workflows, processes, rules, and integrations.
  • Support user provisioning, deprovisioning, identity synchronization, and account correlation activities.
  • Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SailPoint connectors and integrations with enterprise systems.
  • Support integrations involving Okta and other USAidam identity and access management technologies.
  • Review and validate SailPoint code and recommend improvements to system functionality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated SailPoint and identity governance issues.
  • Support system backup, maintenance, performance, and operational activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior SailPoint personnel.
  • Collaborate with IAM, cybersecurity, help desk, infrastructure, and other technical teams.

Qualifications

  • At least six years of experience developing code for and maintaining on-premises SailPoint environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ).
  • Experience developing and maintaining SailPoint workflows, rules, provisioning processes, connectors, synchronization, and identity correlation.
  • Experience with SailPoint integrations and enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments.
  • Experience reviewing, validating, troubleshooting, and maintaining SailPoint code.
  • Knowledge of authentication, identity governance, provisioning/deprovisioning, and access management concepts.
  • Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring junior technical personnel.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government or similarly complex enterprise environments is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain required Government suitability, security, and access requirements.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite at the designated Government facility. Remote work may be authorized by the Government on a case-by-case basis.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Core Hours: Personnel must be available during Government core operating hours of 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern Time, with remaining work hours scheduled in accordance with contract and operational requirements.
  • Target Start Date: September 29, 2026.
  • Employment: Contingent upon contract award and satisfaction of applicable Government suitability, security, and access requirements.
