About This Role

SpartanX is seeking an experienced Bilingual Solar Project Manager to oversee residential solar projects from contract execution through Permission to Operate (PTO).

This role serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects stay on schedule while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll collaborate with multiple internal departments, utility companies, municipalities, and third-party partners to keep projects moving from sale to completion.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Because many of our customers are Spanish-speaking, fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

What You'll Do

• Manage residential solar projects from contract execution through final completion
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate project milestones, expectations, and updates in both English and Spanish
• Coordinate with permitting, design, engineering, scheduling, inspections, installation, and service teams
• Monitor project timelines and proactively resolve delays or operational issues
• Work directly with utility companies, AHJs, and third-party vendors to ensure timely project progression
• Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates within company systems
• Review project documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Assist homeowners with questions, concerns, and project expectations
• Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Escalate operational issues when necessary to maintain project momentum

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
• Previous project management, project coordination, or operations experience required
• Residential solar experience strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
• Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
• High attention to detail and strong follow-through
• Experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and project management software
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous residential solar project management experience
• Experience working with permitting, inspections, scheduling, or utility coordination
• Familiarity with AHJ requirements and utility interconnection processes
• Experience supporting multi-state solar operations
• PMP certification is a plus but not required
