Job Purpose:

The Manager, Digital Technology leads Tecnica Group North America's digital technology function, translating business needs into clear priorities for the team and ensuring the systems and processes we rely on serve the business. This role leads and develops the local Digital Technology team, sets direction, and ensures day-to-day technical execution stays aligned with real business priorities. It partners closely with our Global Group IT, representing NorAm's needs and ensuring local execution fits within the broader corporate framework.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

  • Leads, coaches, and develops the local Digital Technology team.
  • Sets team priorities, removes obstacles, and balances competing demands across support, projects, and operational needs.
  • Supports team members' growth through regular feedback and coaching.

Business Analysis & Digital Transformation

  • In partnership with other team members, serves as a liaison between NorAm business users and Global Group IT on the SAP ERP rollout, translating business requirements into terms the broader implementation team can act on.
  • Maintains working knowledge of NorAm's business processes (sales, warehouse and 3PL, finance, customer operations) sufficient to identify where local needs are genuine versus where the corporate standard should be adopted as-is.
  • Partners with functional leaders across the business to ensure rollout sequencing and priorities reflect real operational constraints.
  • Supports testing, validation, and adoption efforts during system rollouts, ensuring the business perspective is represented throughout.
  • Serves as a local SAP subject matter expert through close partnerships with Group IT and local team members to build system fluency

Oversight of Digital Technology Operations

  • Ensures infrastructure, help desk, and cybersecurity plans and priorities stay aligned with business needs.
  • Provides or coordinates backup help desk support as needed,
  • Reviews technical roadmaps and priorities with the team to confirm they reflect actual business risk and value, escalating and resourcing accordingly.
  • Maintains visibility into the health of core systems and support operations, providing dashboards and metrics to business leadership.
  • Manages the annual IT budget and resource allocation, monitors monthly expenses, forecasts capital investments, and identifies cost-saving opportunities across systems and vendors.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Represents NorAm's Digital Technology function in conversations with Group IT, escalating gaps or local needs outside the standard corporate template.
  • Documents key decisions and outcomes, and maintains clear records of process and rationale for major initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a business analyst or in a similar business-facing analytical role within a digital technology, IT, or ERP implementation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into terms a technical team can execute against.
  • Experience supporting or participating in a large-scale ERP or systems implementation (SAP experience a plus)
  • Comfortable overseeing technical functions (infrastructure, help desk, cybersecurity) at a priority and resourcing level.
  • Prior people leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong business acumen: genuine curiosity about how the business operates and where technology should serve it, not the other way around.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization, from front-line users to executive leadership.
  • Comfortable operating within a centrally directed, multi-stakeholder program, partnering closely with Group IT.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a multi-brand, multi-entity, or matrixed organization a plus.

The Successful Candidate Will Be:

  • A strong communicator who bridges business and technical conversations naturally.
  • Genuinely curious about how the business runs, with an instinct for spotting where technology helps versus where it gets in the way.
  • A steady, supportive people leader who brings out the best in a small team.
  • Comfortable making judgment calls on priority and resourcing without needing to be the most technical person in the room.
  • Collaborative, patient, and clear under pressure, especially during a major systems rollout.
