The Site Engagement Associate is an individual contributor responsible for supporting clinical research sites and ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. This role works directly with site personnel to support critical operational activities, including EDC data entry, query resolution, regulatory documentation, study start-up, financial processes, patient stipends, and eSource development.

The Site Engagement Associate serves as a trusted operational partner to research sites, helping reduce administrative burden, resolve issues, optimize workflows, and ensure high-quality execution of clinical trials.



Who You Are

You are a detail-oriented, proactive clinical research professional who understands what it takes to successfully execute a clinical trial at the site level.


You bring 1–3 years of clinical research experience, ideally as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) or in a similar site-facing role. You have hands-on experience supporting clinical trial operations and understand the regulatory, data, financial, and administrative responsibilities required to keep studies moving forward.


You are comfortable building relationships with site personnel, solving operational challenges, learning new therapeutic areas and study designs, and becoming an extension of the site team.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong communication, organization, technical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional site experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Site Operations & Service Delivery

  • Support day-to-day clinical trial operations, including EDC data entry, data query resolution, regulatory binder setup and maintenance, invoicing, and patient stipend processes.
  • Partner with site personnel to ensure operational activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Identify and resolve site issues, escalating or collaborating with cross-functional teams when appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for site questions related to platform functionality and operational workflows.
  • Build and maintain eSource within the Tilda Sense platform, ensuring alignment with sponsor data requirements, protocol expectations, and site workflows.
  • Support study start-up activities and ongoing regulatory documentation throughout the trial lifecycle.


Site Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with clinical research site personnel.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner focused on improving the site's experience and reducing administrative burden.
  • Support the onboarding of new sites and sponsor counterparts onto the Tilda platform.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, training, and troubleshooting to ensure successful platform adoption.
  • Gather and communicate site feedback to help improve Tilda's technology, services, and operational workflows.
  • Adapt quickly to new therapeutic areas, protocols, and trial designs to effectively support site teams.


Operational Excellence

  • Monitor and track site performance and operational metrics to ensure alignment with study and organizational objectives.
  • Partner with the Site Engagement Director to implement and maintain best practices for site service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and reduce administrative burden for clinical research sites.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal processes, documentation, and operational standards.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and quality across assigned studies and sites.



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in clinical research, preferably as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) or in a comparable site-level clinical research role.
  • Direct, hands-on experience supporting and delivering clinical trials from the research site perspective.
  • Working knowledge of clinical trial operations, including study start-up, regulatory documentation, data management, and site financial processes.
  • Experience working with clinical trial technology such as EDC, CTMS, eSource, eRegulatory, or similar systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple studies, sites, and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with site personnel, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to independently resolve operational challenges.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, therapeutic areas, protocols, and clinical trial workflows.



Additional Requirements

Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to clinical research sites.

Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
