Position Summary

The Learning Solutions Specialist for TopDog Law is a full-time role reporting to the Learning Solutions Manager. This position supports the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning experiences across the organization.


This individual plays a key role in onboarding, role-based training, and ongoing development initiatives for our operations and law firm teams. The role blends facilitation, content creation, learning technology administration, and employee communication. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex processes into clear, engaging learning experiences across multiple formats.

    • Example Monday - Friday 6 am Guatemala/7 am Central Time to 3 pm Guatemala/4 pm Central or longer if deadlines are approaching

Duties & Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation


Deliver virtual and live (in-person) training sessions that promote engagement, comprehension, and application of knowledge. Facilitate onboarding experiences and role-specific programs that build employee confidence and readiness.

Examples of Work:


  • Facilitate multi-day onboarding and role-based training programs that include company culture, systems, and core job functions
  • Lead Day 1 New Employee Experience sessions across departments
  • Incorporate interactive elements such as role-play, discussion, and applied exercises

Learning Program Support & Coordination

Partner with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to support the development and execution of learning programs. Assist with needs analysis, feedback collection, and program evaluation.

Examples of Work:


  • Draft and distribute learner surveys and analyze results to identify improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate updates to training materials based on process or policy changes


Content Development & Editing

Create, update, and maintain learning materials across multiple formats, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business needs. This includes eLearning, job aids, guides, and internal communications.


Examples of Work:

  • Develop or revise eLearning courses using tools such as Rise or Rippling
  • Design visual learning assets and job aids using Canva
  • Record and edit training videos and walkthroughs using ScreenPal
  • Edit existing materials for clarity, consistency, and accuracy


Learning Technology & LMS Administration

Manage and maintain learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate enrollment, tracking, and reporting.


Examples of Work:

  • Upload and organize exported courses, create learning paths, and add resources in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Track course completion and generate reports for stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot learner access issues and support system navigation
  • Maintain course version control and updates


Employee Communication

Develop and deliver clear, concise employee-facing communication related to training programs, updates, and learning initiatives.

Examples of Work:

  • Write announcements, course instructions, and follow-up communications
  • Create learning campaign messaging to drive engagement and completion
  • Partner with leadership to communicate training expectations and timelines


Assessment & Evaluation

Support the measurement of learning effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.


Examples of Work:

  • Administer pre- and post-training evaluations
  • Support the development of scorecards or evaluation tools for skill application
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements

Continuous Improvement

Stay current on learning trends, tools, and best practices. Identify opportunities to improve learning experiences, processes, and content quality.

Examples of Work:

  • Recommend enhancements to training formats, tools, or delivery methods
  • Contribute ideas for new learning initiatives or resources

Knowledge

  • Excellent virtual facilitation skills
  • Familiarity with onboarding and early-tenure employee development
  • Working knowledge of LMS platforms and digital learning tools
  • Basic understanding of instructional design concepts and content structuring
  • Awareness of accessibility and usability standards for learning materials

Skills

Facilitation & Delivery

  • Ability to deliver engaging virtual training sessions using platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
  • Skilled at presenting information in a clear and structured way
  • Ability to adapt delivery style based on audience needs

Content & Tools

  • Experience with Rise for eLearning development
  • Experience using Canva for visual content creation
  • Experience with ScreenPal for recording and editing video content
  • Ability to edit and refine written and visual materials for clarity and accuracy

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Experience managing LMS enrollments, reporting, and content updates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in learning and development, education, marketing, sales, communication, training, or a related field
  • Experience working with an LMS and digital learning tools
  • Experience creating and editing learning content and employee communications
