Steel Building Design & Production Specialist

Job Description

As a Steel Building Design & Production Specialist, you will play an important role in connecting the technical aspects of our building solutions with our sales and project coordination processes. You will work closely with our sales, engineering, design, and production teams, as well as our clients, to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and projects move forward smoothly from the sales stage through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Consultation

• Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients and sales teams regarding pre-engineered steel building systems and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure building designs align with client specifications and project requirements.
• Respond to technical questions and address concerns throughout the sales process.

Project Coordination

• Serve as a key point of contact between sales, engineering, design, and production teams to support seamless project transitions.
• Assist with coordinating project details to ensure requirements are communicated accurately and efficiently.
• Provide ongoing technical support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Sales & Production Support

• Support the sales team in preparing technical documentation, pricing proposals, and other project-related materials.
• Review building designs and specifications to ensure they align with customer contracts and agreed-upon requirements.
• Assist with coordinating project details to support an efficient and accurate delivery process.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory: Previous experience in a technical role within the pre-engineered steel building or civil engineering industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to interpret building designs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach to resolving technical challenges.
