Growth Marketing Manager

About Uride Technologies Inc.

Uride is a Canadian technology company redefining local transportation by building a safe, affordable, and reliable ride-sharing platform. Founded in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Uride was created to solve real problems riders and drivers face in underserved and mid-sized cities.

Today, Uride operates in 25 cities across Canada, with international cities in Mexico and Germany. Our growth is driven by a clear mission: make ride-sharing more accessible while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and value.

Uride has been recognized by Deloitte’s Fast 50 as one of Canada’s fastest-growing technology companies, reflecting the strength of our platform, team, and execution.

We actively support community initiatives through our Good Deeds program, reinvesting in the cities we serve through local partnerships, sponsorships, and social impact efforts.

Uride is growing quickly and intentionally. Our team values ownership, speed, and accountability, and we give people the autonomy to make decisions that directly impact the business. If you want to build real products, influence strategy, and see your work matter, Uride offers that opportunity.

About the role

Uride is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to own both sides of its marketplace — drivers and riders — across Canada. This is a builder role: you'll set up the channels, run the campaigns, write the briefs, manage the budget, and report on what's working. You'll report directly to senior leadership.

What you'll do

Driver Acquisition

·       Own the full driver recruitment funnel across all active Uride markets

·       Build and manage acquisition channels: paid social, search, referrals, community outreach

·       Partner with City GMs on local driver supply targets

Rider Acquisition & Growth

·       Drive first-time rider volume across cities through performance marketing

·       Own and allocate the marketing budget across channels; report on ROI to leadership

·       Build viral and referral loops to reduce paid CAC over time

·       Coordinate promotions and local market activations

PR & Press

·       Manage the external PR writer relationship and content pipeline

·       Develop and maintain an editorial calendar of story angles

·       Identify media opportunities tied to company milestones, city launches, and driver stories

·       Build Uride's share of voice in Canadian rideshare media

Communications & Brand

·       Own all outbound comms: email, push notifications, and in-app messaging

·       Maintain consistent brand voice across all channels and markets

·       Produce campaign briefs, copy, and creative direction for design partners

·       Support City GMs with lifecycle campaign assets and messaging templates

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

·       Driver applicant volume & funnel conversion rate

·       First-time rider acquisition cost (CAC) by market

·       Marketing budget ROI across paid channels

·       PR coverage volume & share of voice

·       Email and push open rates, click-through, and campaign-attributed rides

·       Lifecycle campaign engagement (in partnership with GMs)

Qualifications

Must Have

·       5+ years in growth, performance, or integrated marketing — you've run campaigns start to finish

·       Strongly data-oriented — comfortable pulling reports, interpreting metrics, and making decisions based on numbers rather than gut feel

·       Hands-on experience with paid social and search (Meta, Google, TikTok)

·       Strong writing skills — you can produce clear copy without heavy editing

·       Comfortable owning a budget and defending spend decisions with data

·       Self-starter who can operate without a large team or agency support

·       Experience working in a fast-moving, multi-market or platform business

Nice to Have

·       Rideshare, mobility, or marketplace experience

·       Experience managing a PR agency or freelance writer

·       Familiarity with driver or gig worker audiences

·       French language skills (asset for Quebec expansion)
