Field Superintendent

Position Summary

We are seeking two (2) experienced Field Superintendents to oversee field execution for a jack and slide heavy equipment relocation project. Project will take just under two weeks and is scheduled to start at the beginning of October. The role is responsible for coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and equipment movement activities to ensure the project is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans and project requirements. Must be willing to work day or night shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily field activities associated with hydraulic jacking, sliding, and positioning of heavy equipment.
  • Coordinate rigging crews, subcontractors, and site personnel to support project execution.
  • Review lift plans, jack and slide procedures, and equipment placement requirements.
  • Monitor field progress, resolve execution issues, and coordinate with project management and engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety requirements, quality standards, and approved work procedures.
  • Support project scheduling, material readiness, and daily field reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment relocation, rigging, industrial construction, or related field operations.
  • Required: Hands-on experience with jack and slide projects, hydraulic jacking systems, and heavy equipment positioning.
  • Prior experience as a Field Superintendent, General Foreman, or Rigging Supervisor preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging practices, load movement, site safety, and field coordination.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
