AB Spectrum

Behavior Technician with Paid RBT Certification

🌟 Join a Top Workplace in Specialized Therapy

Enhance your clinical career with AB Spectrum, a team proudly named a Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. We earned this recognition, which is based entirely on employee feedback, because we foster a culture where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

AB Spectrum provides specialized Reggio ABAā„¢ (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy for young children (ages 1-6). Our foundation is ABA, an evidence-based therapy focused on developing communication, social, and adaptive living skills.

  • Our Model: Our centers utilize a unique Therapy Through Play model. We embrace the principles of Reggio Emilia by devising a Natural Environment Teaching (NET), child-led learning environment to deliver individualized, high-quality early intervention services in settings that replicate a natural preschool.
  • Our Team: Join our collaborative team of BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs, and Administration. You'll benefit from cross-disciplinary collaboration and unique special visits, including music facilitators, pet interactions, and other partnerships.

Behavior Technician- Paid RBT

Build Skills. Build Confidence. Build a Career. 🌱

At AB Spectrum, we believe therapy should feel meaningful, engaging, and fun—for the children we serve and the people who work with them.

We provide specialized ReggioABAā„¢ therapy for children ages 1–6, combining evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a child-led, play-based environment inspired by Reggio Emilia.

As a Behavior Technician, you'll play an important role in helping children develop communication, social, independence, and daily living skills while building meaningful relationships along the way.

🧠 Your Role:

Working under the supervision of a BCBA, you'll provide individualized, 1:1 ABA therapy and help children work toward meaningful developmental goals.

Your day may include:

  • Teaching communication and language skills
  • Building social and play skills
  • Supporting independence and daily living skills
  • Working on feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Helping children navigate challenging moments
  • Collecting data and tracking progress
  • Following individualized treatment plans
  • Creating learning opportunities through play
  • Celebrating small—and big—milestones

This is an active, hands-on position. You'll spend your day playing, moving, teaching, learning, and engaging with children rather than sitting behind a desk.

Our ReggioABAā„¢ approach encourages you to get involved, follow the child's interests, and turn everyday moments into opportunities for learning.
