Senior IT Systems Administrator

About AgelessRx

AgelessRx is a first-of-its-kind, longevity-focused telehealth platform with an e-commerce component. Our mission is to collectively give people millions of extra healthy years, so everyone can enjoy more of what they love in a world where people are empowered to live as long as they want. We believe aging should no longer be treated as a dreadful inevitability, but instead, as a puzzle that can be solved, a fight that can be fought – just as a disease with a cure. Through our free-to-use platform, we offer trusted, data-driven longevity solutions and scientifically backed prescription therapies to help safely lower the risk of age-related diseases.

About the role
AgelessRx is seeking a hands-on, highly organized Senior IT Systems Administrator to own the day-to-day operation of our internal technology environment. As a fully remote telehealth company, our employees rely heavily on company devices, cloud-based applications, identity and access systems, and secure technology infrastructure to do their work effectively.

This role will serve as the primary owner of employee-facing IT operations across AgelessRx, including company devices, SaaS applications, account provisioning, onboarding and offboarding, technical support, and IT asset management. This person will be responsible not only for resolving issues as they arise, but also for building scalable, well-documented systems and processes that make our technology environment easier to manage as the company grows.

The Senior IT Systems Administrator will work closely with our Senior Security Engineer to ensure that IT systems and processes support AgelessRx's security, privacy, and compliance requirements. While the Senior Security Engineer owns the broader security program and technical security strategy, the IT Administrator will be responsible for implementing and maintaining many of the day-to-day administrative controls that keep our workforce and systems operating securely.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being both a builder and an operator: someone willing to troubleshoot an employee's device one moment and then improve an organization-wide device management, access, or SaaS administration process the next.

What you'll do

IT Systems & SaaS Administration

  • Own and continuously improve administration of Google Workspace, Anthropic, and other company-wide SaaS platforms, including configuration, permissions, licensing, integrations, and governance.
  • Set IT administration standards; maintain authoritative inventories of applications, administrators, licenses, users, vendors, and system owners.
  • Lead technical evaluations, vendor coordination, implementation planning, migrations, and change management for new and existing systems.
  • Identify redundant tools, licensing waste, configuration risks, and opportunities for automation; recommend solutions with clear trade-offs and costs.
  • Create durable technical documentation, runbooks, system ownership records, and repeatable operating procedures.

Identity, Access & Employee Lifecycle

  • Own end-to-end IT provisioning, access changes, and deprovisioning for employees and contractors; establish reliable controls and service expectations.
  • Administer identity and access configurations, including SSO, MFA, role-based access, groups, privileged accounts, and least-privilege practices.
  • Lead operational access reviews, investigate exceptions, maintain audit-ready records, and remediate issues with the Senior Security Engineer.
  • Improve onboarding, offboarding, and role-change workflows through standardization, automation, and cross-functional coordination.

Device & Endpoint Management

  • Own the complete lifecycle of company laptops and technology: purchasing, configuration, deployment, shipping, support, inventory, recovery, and replacement.
  • Select, implement, and administer mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint management; define enrollment, configuration, patching, and maintenance standards.
  • Coordinate implementation of endpoint security controls and remediation requirements established with the Senior Security Engineer.
  • Maintain accurate asset ownership and device compliance records for a distributed workforce.

Employee Support and Service Operations

  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex device, operating-system, SaaS, connectivity, and access issues while remaining willing to handle hands-on support.
  • Design and own an organized IT request process with prioritization, tracking, response expectations, and clear employee communications.
  • Analyze recurring incidents and eliminate root causes; build self-service resources and knowledge documentation.
  • Provide thoughtful, timely support to nontechnical colleagues across a fully remote environment.

IT Infrastructure, Data & Operations

  • Lead internal technology migrations and implementations, including file storage, collaboration platforms, permissions, ownership, and employee adoption.
  • Oversee operational administration of company-managed data, storage, backup, retention, and recovery processes in coordination with Security and system owners.
  • Evaluate operational resilience, integrations, vendor dependencies, and process risks; prioritize improvements based on impact and effort.
  • Own delivery plans, milestones, stakeholder updates, and documentation for cross-functional IT projects.

Security & Compliance Partnership

  • Operationalize approved identity, access, endpoint, device, and SaaS security controls in partnership with the Senior Security Engineer.
  • Support audits, evidence collection, access reviews, incident response, and remediation; promptly escalate suspected incidents or inappropriate access.
  • Help administer controls for company-approved AI tools and emerging technology, including access and configuration requirements.
  • Support healthcare data protection and HIPAA-related operational requirements without serving as the owner of the security or compliance program.

During the first several months, this role will be expected to help lead foundational IT initiatives, including:

  • Complete the OneDrive-to-Google Drive migration, including departmental files, permissions, ownership, employee transition, and validation.
  • Lead selection, implementation, and company-wide rollout of MDM with ongoing device lifecycle and control processes.
  • Assess the SaaS and IT landscape and establish a centralized, reliable application, license, access, and administrator inventory.
  • Standardize employee and contractor onboarding/offboarding and build a scalable IT service request and documentation system.
  • Support Zendesk administration and technical integrations, including AI-related integrations, as business ownership requires.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate IT, IT administration, systems administration, or comparable roles, including substantial independent ownership of business-critical systems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex IT projects or migrations from assessment through implementation, adoption, and documentation.
  • Advanced hands-on Google Workspace administration and broad SaaS administration experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of identity and access management, SSO, MFA, privileged access, and employee account lifecycle controls.
  • Experience selecting, implementing, or significantly improving MDM/endpoint management for a distributed workforce.
  • Excellent troubleshooting across macOS and/or Windows devices, SaaS applications, accounts, and connectivity.
  • Experience managing hardware procurement, remote deployment, inventory, and recovery.
  • Ability to automate or streamline repetitive administrative work using platform-native tools, scripting, or integrations.
  • Independent prioritization, project ownership, sound judgment, clear documentation, and effective communication with nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or another regulated environment, including familiarity with HIPAA and PHI-related technology controls.
  • Experience building or maturing internal IT operations at a growing startup.
  • Experience migrating Microsoft 365/OneDrive environments to Google Workspace/Drive.
  • Experience with endpoint security tooling, access reviews, audit evidence, and incident-response coordination.
  • Experience with Zendesk, technical integrations, enterprise AI administration, and IT vendor management.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: Map the IT environment, identify immediate risks, establish stakeholder relationships, and deliver a prioritized improvement roadmap with owners and dependencies.
  • By 60 days: Establish reliable system, access, device, and license inventories; standardize onboarding/offboarding and request intake; define milestones for MDM and Drive migration.
  • By 90 days: Demonstrate measurable progress on the migration and MDM rollout; document repeatable IT processes; improve access consistency and employee support; establish a recurring operating rhythm with the Senior Security Engineer.
