About the role
We are looking for a Senior AI Product Manager to join the ConvoAI product team and take end-to-end ownership of core AI product components across Agora’s real-time conversational AI platform.
This role will partner closely with engineering, solution architects, customer-facing teams, and existing product leaders to define, build, and scale foundational product capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong AI product judgment, deep platform thinking, customer empathy, and business sense. They should be able to translate complex AI, real-
time media, and communication infrastructure requirements into clear product direction and executable roadmaps. This is a senior individual contributor role with broad ownership. The person must be capable of independently driving product definition, cross-functional execution, customer alignment, and commercial impact
What you'll do
1. Own Core ConvoAI Product Areas
Take product ownership of several foundational ConvoAI components. Define the product
vision, roadmap, requirements, priorities, and success metrics for these areas.
2. Drive End-to-End Product Execution
Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration, including:
• PRD and API requirement definition
• Cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, solution architecture, sales, and customer success
• Release planning and go-to-market support
• Post-launch adoption, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement
3. Partner with Engineering on AI Platform Design
Work closely with engineering teams to shape scalable, extensible, and reliable product
architecture for real-time conversational AI use cases.
Key areas include:
• API design and developer experience
• SIP and telephony integration• RAG Design
4. Improve Customer and Developer Experience
Own product experience across both customer-facing and developer-facing workflows.
Responsibilities include:
• Identifying pain points in onboarding, integration, debugging, and production
operations
• Improving API usability and documentation clarity
• Working with internal teams to improve observability
5. Support Enterprise AI Call-Agent and Conversational AI Scenarios
Work with customer-facing teams to understand enterprise requirements across AI call
agents, voice agents, real-time assistants, and multimodal conversational AI use cases.
Translate these requirements into reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off
custom solutions.
Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years in AI, developer platforms, cloud infrastructure or related B to B products
• Strong understanding of AI product concepts, including LLMs, speech AI, RAG, agents, orchestration , latency,
• Experience owning technical products, APIs, SDKs, or cloud products
• Proven ability to write clear product requirements and drive complex cross-functional execution
• Ability to work deeply with engineering teams on architecture, tradeoffs, and
implementation priorities
• Strong business sense and ability to connect product decisions to customer adoption and revenue impact
• Excellent communication skills in both strategic discussions and detailed execution contexts
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Preferred
• Experience with real-time communication, RTC, VoIP, SIP, telephony, audio/video infrastructure, or contact center technologies
• Strong customer discovery and enterprise customer communication skills
• Experience building conversational AI, voice AI, AI agents, or multimodal AI products• Experience with AI deployments and customer-facing technical sales cycles
• Experience working with global engineering and go-to-market teams
• Prior experience with developer experience, API design, or cloud products
