Amp

AI-native Head of Product Marketing

The Role

You will be Amp’s first product marketing hire — but you won’t be working alone. You’ll be the person who turns Amp’s AI Teammates into stories the market understands: product videos, demos, launch content, walkthroughs, customer proof, and the messaging that ties it all together. You’ll do this by directing a team of AI agents that produce, edit, and ship at a velocity no traditional product marketing team can match. Your job is not to write or to film alone. Your job is to know the product cold.

This is a new kind of product marketing role. You’re the strategic operator who learns the product deeply, decides what gets made (videos, demos, launch assets, messaging), briefs the agents, reviews the output, and measures whether it moves pipeline. You work closely with our AI Ops lead who builds and maintains the agentic infrastructure — you are the power user who pushes it to its limits and tells us what to build next.

If you’ve been making product videos, demos, and launch content with AI tools and wondering why everyone else is still doing it the old way, this is the role where that instinct becomes the entire job.

What You’ll Own

Brand & Positioning

  • Maintain Amp’s brand voice across all agent-produced content: enterprise-appropriate, technically precise, confident without hype.
  • Translate technical product capabilities into buyer-relevant messaging, demo scripts, and video narratives for two distinct audiences (SMB founder/ops lead vs. enterprise CHRO/VP TA). This is the core of the job.
  • Be the quality gate. AI produces volume; you ensure every piece that ships meets the bar.

Agent-Driven Product Content & Video

  • Direct and quality-control an AI agent pipeline that produces product videos, demos, feature walkthroughs, launch films, customer story videos, and explainer content at weekly (or faster) cadence.
  • Own the written product surface — product pages, feature pages, comparison pages, launch posts, and case studies — produced by agents and edited by you to ship-ready quality.
  • Own the launch and release calendar — what features, what stories, what proof points — then brief the agents and review the output. Every product release ships with the video, page, and messaging to back it.
  • Own Amp’s product YouTube channel, blog, newsletter, and LinkedIn product content. You’re the editor-in-chief of an AI-powered product newsroom — and the executive producer of its video output.

Agent-Powered Launches & Sales Enablement

  • Orchestrate AI agents to run end-to-end product launches — launch video, landing page, email announcement, LinkedIn rollout, and sales briefing — coordinated to ship together.
  • Coordinate agent-generated sales enablement: demo videos, product one-pagers, ROI calculators, competitive battle cards, and objection-handling content sales can use the day a feature ships.
  • Partner with the CEO on analyst relations, event strategy, and PR when needed.

Who You Are

  • 5–8 years in B2B SaaS product marketing (or adjacent — product, content, developer relations) with proven experience using AI agents and tools to produce real product content — videos, demos, launches, pages — not just experimenting, but shipping.
  • You’ve already been doing this role informally: using AI to script and edit product videos, generate demo walkthroughs, draft launch posts, build product pages, and move faster than your peers. You want a company that’s built entirely around that way of working.
  • You know how to brief an AI agent the way a product marketer briefs a creative team — clear product narrative, audience, tone, constraints, examples. You can tell the difference between a video or demo that’s ready to publish and one that needs another pass.
  • You understand product positioning, messaging frameworks, launch mechanics, video storytelling, and the basics of SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization for LLM search) — the thinking behind what gets made, not just the production of it.
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity. At a small company, “marketing” means whatever moves the number this week.
  • You measure what you do. You care about pipeline, not vanity metrics.
  • Bonus: HR tech or vertical SaaS experience.

What This Is Not

  • Not a traditional content writer or video producer role. You’re not writing scripts or editing videos manually — you’re directing AI agents that produce them at scale and ensuring quality.
  • Not a brand/visual design role. AI handles design. You direct it, not produce it.
  • Not a growth/demand-gen role. Paid acquisition, lifecycle, and funnel optimization are not the focus. We need product clarity, launch velocity, and organic pull first.
  • Not a “Head of Marketing who builds a team.” Your team is AI agents. For at least the first 12 months, this is a player role, not a people-management role.
  • Not a system architecture role. You operate inside our agentic marketing workflows. You work with our AI Ops person to shape the systems to your needs.

Amp (amp10.ai) builds pre-trained AI Teammates for HR and Talent teams. Unlike copilots or chatbots, Amp’s AI Teammates own outcomes — autonomously screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing hiring workflows 24/7. They integrate into existing recruiting systems (Workday, Dayforce, UKG, iCIMS) with zero disruption, freeing HR & Talent teams for the strategic work that drives business impact.
