Overview

The Solutions Consultant is a key contributor to the revenue generation process at Appriss Retail.  Working with the Sales organization and supported by Data Science and other teams at Appriss Retail, the Solutions Consultant is a subject matter expert who identifies, articulates and demonstrates the significant value that Appriss Retail delivers to retailers.   


Essential Duties

  • Serve as a subject matter expert articulating expected value that Appriss Solutions will deliver to retailers and when appropriate, assist project sponsors with business case development for approval. 
  • Analyze relevant data to create data driven value propositions and business cases for Appriss customers and prospects. 
  • Demonstrate the use of Appriss solutions to potential users along with the value that they can drive. 
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop key relationships with prospects and customers. 
  • Support meetings and conferences when needed. 


Qualifications & Experience

  • Deep knowledge of retail, ideally developed working at a retailer in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, or Finance.
  • Solution Consulting experience at a SaaS solution provider focused on retail.
  • Foundational data analytics skills with a proven track record of learning and utilizing new tools and IT systems.
  • Experience developing and presenting business cases to executive leadership for approval.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Team player who values contributing to winning teams.
  • Strong technical acumen and impeccable verbal and written communication skills - ability to fine-tune the dialogue for technical and non-technical audiences.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
