Transforming The Way Construction Owners Use Technology & Data

If you enjoy solving supply chain challenges, working with large datasets, supporting complex data center programs, and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, this is the role for you. Avicado Construction Technology Services is seeking a Connectivity Inventory Consultant to support one of our hyperscale data center clients. In this role, you will help drive inventory accuracy, material visibility, demand planning support, reporting, and data quality initiatives across connectivity infrastructure programs. You will work closely with supply chain teams, planners, construction stakeholders, and business operations teams to ensure connectivity materials are accurately tracked, reported, and aligned with project demand signals. What you’ll do… 

  • Connectivity Inventory & Material Controls 
    • Support connectivity inventory management and material control processes across multiple campuses and programs. 
    • Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support project execution and demand planning. 
    • Coordinate material movement activities, including inventory rebalancing, move orders, and inventory reclassification. 
    • Review material shortages, inventory gaps, and fulfillment constraints while supporting mitigation efforts. 
    • Maintain alignment between connectivity inventory data and project demand signals. 
    • Assist with tracking material variances, delays, and inventory-related risks.  
  • Data Quality & Reporting 
    • Perform routine data quality (DQ) checks across multiple systems of record. 
    • Investigate and resolve inventory and material data discrepancies. 
    • Support reporting administration, dashboard monitoring, and data validation activities. 
    • Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. 
    • Assist with automated reporting processes and data refresh activities. 
    • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.  
  • Demand Planning Support 
    • Support connectivity demand signal submissions and data validation processes. 
    • Maintain accurate inventory and demand planning records. 
    • Partner with planning, procurement, and construction teams to ensure material requirements are accurately reflected in systems. 
    • Assist in identifying risks associated with inventory shortages, schedule impacts, and fulfillment gaps.  
  • Documentation & Process Support 
    • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and program knowledge resources. 
    • Support the creation and maintenance of training materials and process guides. 
    • Document inventory processes, business requirements, and operational workflows. 
    • Capture meeting notes, action items, and follow-up activities.  
  • Cross-Functional Coordination  
    • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, construction, planning, and business operations teams. 
    • Participate in inventory reviews, planning meetings, and operational status updates. 
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, reporting, and process efficiency. 
    • Escalate inventory risks, data issues, and fulfillment concerns to stakeholders as appropriate. 

You should have 

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Construction Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience supporting inventory management, supply chain operations, logistics, material controls, procurement, or related disciplines. 
  • Experience working with inventory, demand planning, procurement, or material management processes. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation activities. 
  • Familiarity with SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications   

  • Experience supporting data center, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or construction programs. 
  • Experience with ERP, inventory management, or planning systems. 
  • Familiarity with SmartBOM, Primavera P6, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. 
  • Experience creating dashboards and automated reporting solutions. 
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for reporting, documentation, or workflow automation. 
  • Understanding of demand planning, inventory forecasting, and material fulfillment processes.
