Technical Program Manager - Suppy Chain

Avicado is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Supply Chain to support a large enterprise technology client undergoing significant transformation across commerce, supply chain, procurement, finance, and fulfillment operations. This role serves as a strategic operational partner to executive leadership, driving alignment, accountability, and execution across multiple organizations, technical teams, and external vendors. The ideal candidate combines strong program management discipline with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results in highly complex environments.

What you’ll do…

  • Program Leadership & Execution: 
    • Lead coordination and execution of large-scale cross-functional initiatives spanning enterprise platforms, e-commerce, financial engineering, supply chain, procurement, and fulfillment teams.
    • Build and maintain integrated program plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
    • Drive accountability across business, technical, and vendor teams to ensure commitments are met and risks are proactively managed.
    • Facilitate program reviews, steering committee meetings, decision-making forums, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
    • Coordinate cross-functional planning activities to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: 
    • Develop and maintain risk registers, issue logs, and dependency tracking processes.
    • Identify potential execution risks and partner with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
    • Escalate critical issues and decisions while ensuring leadership has visibility into key tradeoffs and impacts.
  • Launch Readiness & Operational Excellence: 
    • Coordinate testing activities, launch readiness planning, go-live execution, and post-launch stabilization efforts.
    • Partner with technical and business teams to ensure operational readiness across impacted functions.
    • Support hypercare activities following major releases and implementations.
  • Executive Communication & Reporting:
    • Prepare executive-level status updates, dashboards, and program reporting materials.
    • Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and milestones to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
    • Create visibility into program health, delivery status, and strategic priorities.
  • Vendor & Partner Management:
    • Coordinate activities across third-party vendors, implementation partners, and logistics providers as needed.
    • Ensure external partners remain aligned to project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

You should have

  • 7+ years of Technical Program Management, Program Management, or related experience.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organization, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, drive alignment, and achieve results without direct authority.
  • Experience managing integrated schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive communications.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while balancing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting programs within consumer electronics, hardware operations, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, procurement, or fulfillment organizations.
  • Familiarity with ERP-supported business processes, including Oracle, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, and technical delivery concepts.
  • Experience with order-to-cash, procurement, inventory management, asset management, or fulfillment workflows.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors, implementation partners, and logistics providers.
  • Previous experience as a Chief of Staff, Program Lead, Strategic Program Manager, or senior TPM supporting executive leadership.
  • Consulting experience working with large enterprise organizations.
