Job Summary

BC Stone Homes is growing, and we are seeking a polished, personable Receptionist and Office Administrator to be the welcoming face of our beautiful new office off Glenn Avenue in Auburn, Alabama. As the first person our clients, homeowners, and trade partners meet, you will set the tone for the professional, client focused experience BC Stone Homes is known for. You will manage the front desk, greet guests, direct incoming calls, and keep the office running smoothly, while lending a hand with light administrative and clerical tasks that keep our team productive throughout the day. Our office hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, service minded professional to join a well established, technology forward home builder. No prior accounting or bookkeeping background is required; we will train the right person on our routines.

Key Responsibilities

    Greet and welcome clients, homeowners, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

    Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; take accurate messages and follow up as needed

    Manage the front desk and reception area, keeping it clean, organized, and presentable

    Respond to general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team member or department

    Receive, sort, and process incoming mail, packages, and deliveries; prepare outgoing mail and shipments

    Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings

    Maintain and update contact lists, logs, and basic records and filing systems

    Provide light bookkeeping and data entry support, such as basic data entry, gathering and organizing receipts for credit card transactions, and helping process routine bills, including utilities

    Stock and replenish employee consumables, breakroom items, and office supplies; monitor inventory and reorder as needed

    Provide administrative support such as document preparation, copying, scanning, and correspondence

    Assist other departments with clerical tasks and special projects as requested

    Follow company procedures for confidentiality, safety, and visitor sign in

Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required

    One or more years of receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred

    Proficiency with basic office technology, including email, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and multi line phone systems

    Comfortable with basic data entry and organizing receipts; no accounting or bookkeeping background required

Physical Requirements

    Ability to sit and work at a front desk for extended periods

    Ability to occasionally lift and carry office supplies or packages up to 25 pounds

    Reliable attendance during scheduled office hours

Compensation and Benefits

    $41,600.00 per year

    Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time
