Clerical Assistant

About the role

The Registrar’s Office is looking for a positive, organized, and detail-focused Clerical Assistant to provide administrative support and help keep our student records and processes running smoothly. This position includes a variety of general office responsibilities, including data entry, pulling and filing student records, assisting with transfer evaluation data entry and graduation application processing, and other administrative tasks. Because much of this work involves maintaining accurate student information, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in being thorough, organized, and attentive to the details.


Our ideal applicant is dependable and motivated, communicates clearly and professionally, and is comfortable working with both people and detailed information. The Clerical Assistant will report to the Transfer Evaluation Specialist.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current Bethel student
  • Motivated, organized, with strong written and communication skills, ability to work both with a team or alone. Office experience is a plus but not required–we can teach you that!

Office setting

 

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit for shift durations, and sometimes move and lift boxes.



Expected Hours of Work:

0-12 hours per week during standard office hours of Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
