About the Role
Bonusly is looking for a people-first Senior HR Generalist with a specialization in recruiting for tech start-ups. We’re seeking someone who can manage both technical and non-technical full-cycle recruiting efforts while supporting key people operations and light IT tasks. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the employee journey — from the first interview through onboarding and beyond. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building strong partnerships across teams and levels. You’ll manage full-cycle global recruiting, deliver an exceptional candidate experience, and contribute to Bonusly’s vibrant and collaborative culture.
You’ll serve as the trusted partner to the VP, People, our senior leadership team and hiring managers, to build an exceptional full-cycle recruiting and candidate experience. This role comes with a lot of room for innovation, creativity, cross-functional collaboration and also independent leadership to step up, design and be a part of making an impact in today’s world of work.
Representing Bonusly’s brand and company values, you will be seen as the face of our culture and be responsible for developing and implementing recruiting strategies to identify, attract, and engage top talent for the company. This role offers an incredible opportunity to have a seat at the table and advise business leaders on innovative recruiting strategies utilizing external market insights and intelligence to influence how we think about building effective top of funnel. Above all, we are looking for someone who is able to balance being a team player while also working autonomously. The perfect candidate will also be forward-thinking and experienced with implementing AI practices in HR and Recruiting, excited to roll up their sleeves and help us streamline our workflows, processes and experiences across Bonusly. This is an exciting opportunity to put your own thumb print on things and grow with us as we build out new ways of working and collaborate closely not only within the People Ops team, but across the company.
What you’ll do:
- Manage full-cycle global recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
- Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand function-specific needs, define hiring strategies, and deliver top talent.
- Develop creative strategies and messaging for engaging top-of-funnel talent across disciplines representing Bonusly’s brand, values and culture.
- Coordinate and facilitate a welcoming and consistent onboarding experience for new hires.
- Support employee offboarding to ensure a smooth, professional transition.
- Assist with light IT & administrative tasks such as account creation, access provisioning, and coordination with internal systems to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with ad-hoc People Operations initiatives, including company get-togethers, virtual events, and team engagement activities.
- The ability to genuinely empathize with your team, while also setting a high bar for performance.
- Ability to leverage existing technology to drive results, manage performance, drive best practice data and reporting, and improve execution.
- Strong data and reporting skills with a desire to work with data and recruiting metrics.
- A track record for successfully identifying and engaging exceptional recruiting talent.

- Project management skills to drive bigger picture initiatives and changes, with multiple stakeholders.
You should apply if you…
- Have 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, covering both technical and non-technical roles (G&A, Customer Success, Sales, Product & Design, Engineering, Operations and GTM).
- Have previous experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, where you’ve worn multiple hats and adapted quickly to change.
- (This comes with unwavering ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment, be a true team player and problem solver as we build and navigate uncharted territories).
- Have a track record of hitting high volume recruiting metrics (2-3 hires per month) and successfully identifying / engaging exceptional recruiting talent (esp passive candidates for outbound).
- Are skilled at sourcing, screening, and managing candidate pipelines across multiple functions.
- Experience recruiting in HR Tech companies and start-ups is a huge plus.
- Experience using Rippling is also a plus.
- Have experience collaborating with, and partnering with, virtual teams, and preferably global teams.
- Desire and ability to build. Create, move fast, execute.
- Lead with the ability to genuinely empathize with your team, while also setting a high bar for performance.
- Have experience building, enhancing and coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Are comfortable assisting with basic IT coordination, such as user account setup and provisioning access to systems and tools.
- Have strong communication, project management and interpersonal skills working .cross-functionally across all departments and with senior leadership / management.
- Ability to leverage recruiting metrics and existing technology to drive results, manage performance, drive best practice data and reporting, influence hiring decision and improve execution.
- Strong data and reporting skills with a desire to work with data and recruiting metrics.
Bonus points for…
- Experience in a scaling tech or SaaS startup, ideally in the HRTech space.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS and ATS systems (Rippling is a huge plus), along with other recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and Gem.
- Experience designing, enhancing and driving HR operations, light IT, or culture initiatives.
- Strong project management and first-hand experience implementing AI strategies in day-to-day HR & recruiting operations and practices.
- A passion for creating inclusive and engaging employee experiences.
