What we're looking for

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer to be responsible for implementing scalable data and analytics solutions using the Microsoft data platform. Working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and customer stakeholders, you will develop data pipelines, engineer data models, and build reporting and analytics solutions that help organizations leverage their data more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support data and analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
  • Build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
  • Develop and optimize semantic models, data warehouses, lakehouses, and reporting solutions to support business requirements.
  • Apply strong SQL and dimensional modeling principles to create high-performing analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and customer stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, performance, and reporting issues.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing technical recommendations and implementation guidance.
  • Ensure adherence to data engineering best practices, coding standards, and governance requirements.
  • Support deployment automation, testing, and monitoring processes across data solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft data and analytics technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling, including experience with Kimball dimensional modeling methodologies.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and modern analytics platforms.
  • Working knowledge of data warehouse, lakehouse, and enterprise reporting concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver successful data solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Python, PySpark, Spark notebooks, and data transformation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and distributed data processing technologies.
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or Workday.
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies for data engineering workloads.
  • Exposure to data governance, security, and performance optimization best practices.
  • Experience supporting analytics, reporting, or AI/ML initiatives leveraging Azure AI or Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
