JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Provide technical support for electronic component new product introduction projects, current production application support, and overall lifecycle maintenance.
• Lead planning and execution of validation for electronic components.
• Manage activities related to electronic component certifications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assigned projects to support; define and execute validation plans including configuring devices with software/firmware and hands-on testing. This role provides key support in executing electronic component projects.
• Daily engagement and support of global engineering team. Work coordinated by engineering project team leads.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering. 
• Minimum 5-7 years in this capacity is a must

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Electronic component design
• Electronic component validation
• Electronic component failure analysis

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Firmware for electronic components
• Quality and reliability management
