Position Summary

CRB Water is seeking a Quality Manager to spearhead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of their Quality Management System (QMS) as part of a strategic ISO 9001:2026 certification and management initiative.

The person in this newly created position will play a key role in establishing the systems, processes, documentation, and operational discipline necessary to support CRB’s continued growth across multiple domestic manufacturing facilities.

They will serve as both a quality leader and a continuous-improvement champion, helping to standardize operations, improve process consistency, and drive organizational adoption of quality-system best practices across multiple sites.

This is not simply a quality-system maintenance role. Instead, this is a golden opportunity to build and implement a scalable quality infrastructure to support a dynamic, growing firm.

 


Key Responsibilities

 

ISO 9001:2026 IMPLEMENTATION

  • Lead the company's ISO 9001:2026 certification initiative.
  • Coordinate certification readiness activities across multiple facilities.
  • Partner with external consultants and certification bodies.
  • Develop implementation plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Support certification audits and ongoing compliance activities.


QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide quality management systems.
  • Establish and improve document-control processes.
  • Develop and standardize policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Ensure consistent application of quality-system requirements across facilities.
  • Maintain records and documentation necessary to support certification and compliance activities.


AUDITING & COMPLIANCE

  • Coordinate and lead internal audit activities.
  • Support external certification and surveillance audits.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
  • Ensure quality-system effectiveness through regular review and assessment.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvement and risk reduction.


CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Promote process discipline, standardization, and operational excellence.
  • Establish and monitor quality metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Support root-cause investigations and problem-solving activities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional improvement efforts.

ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • Serve as an internal advocate for quality and continuous improvement.
  • Build relationships across manufacturing, operations, technical, and laboratory teams.
  • Influence organizational adoption of new systems and procedures.
  • Support training and development related to quality-system requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience working within a certified quality management system.
  • Manufacturing quality experience.
  • Experience developing SOPs, procedures, and controlled documentation.
  • Internal and external audit experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence change without direct authority.

ISO 9001 implementation experience.Willingness to travel 25–40%

Preferred:

  • Experience leading or supporting certification efforts.
  • Multi-site manufacturing experience.
  • Quality-system ownership experience.
  • Lead Auditor training or certification.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Six Sigma training or certification.
  • Continuous Improvement leadership experience.
  •

Direct water treatment experience is beneficial but not required.

Experience implementing quality systems and driving organizational improvement is more important than industry-specific experience.

Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate will:

  • Drive CRB's ISO 9001:2026 certification effort.
  • Establish sustainable quality-system processes across multiple facilities.
  • Improve SOP development and document-control practices.
  • Strengthen audit readiness and compliance programs.
  • Increase organizational consistency and process discipline.
  • Create a foundation for ongoing continuous improvement and operational excellence.
