This role sits at the intersection of campaign execution, data analysis, creator relationships, and team leadership, owning the full lifecycle from creator sourcing through to campaign performance and payment. You will manage a rolling team of interns, maintain a growing CRM of vetted creators, and serve as the strategic lead on how and when to deploy creator content at scale.

Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Direct and manage creator campaigns for every release
  • Ensure a minimum threshold of creator posts are executed within the first 3 days of each release
  • Assign campaign deliverables to interns and oversee execution to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor active campaigns to identify creators gaining traction and flag opportunities for amplification
  • Identify high-performing or culturally resonant creator posts and flag them to the culture page team for reposting to amplify reach
  • Track Spotify stream performance and algorithmic traction (editorial placement, algorithmic playlists, listener conversion) for artists tied to campaigns
  • Stay current on platform algorithm changes and adjust creator activation strategies accordingly
  • Monitor how algorithmic shifts on Spotify, TikTok, and Instagram affect which creator formats and posting behaviors drive the best results

Data & Reporting

  • Ensure all campaign data is accurately entered into the tracker in a timely manner
  • Maintain clean, up-to-date records across all campaigns and creator engagements
  • Produce regular performance reports for PMs, summarizing campaign results, key wins, and areas for optimization
  • Develop and maintain benchmarks for creator performance (views, engagement rate, stream lift, etc.)
  • Document lessons learned after each campaign cycle to inform and improve future performance

Budget & Creator Strategy

  • Manage campaign budgets and calibrate creator tier selection (nano/micro/mid/macro) accordingly
  • Identify when campaigns are outperforming and proactively recommend scale-up opportunities to PMs to unlock additional budget
  • Build and maintain a tiered roster of creators across genres and audience sizes, ready to activate quickly
  • Negotiate creator rates and manage offer/acceptance workflows

Creator Payments & Compliance

  • Ensure all creators are paid accurately and on time following campaign completion
  • Review and enter invoices correctly in Label Manager, ensuring all entries are complete and error-free
  • Maintain a payment log and flag any outstanding or delayed invoices
  • Ensure creators have signed all required agreements before campaign activation (contracts, usage rights, etc.)

Creator Discovery, Vetting & CRM

  • Direct interns to source a minimum threshold of new creators per week, ensuring all are added to the CRM with complete and accurate profiles
  • Define weekly sourcing briefs for interns based on trending categories, platform signals, and competitive intel
  • Maintain CRM hygiene standards — ensuring entries include audience size, engagement rate, niche/category, platform handles, contact info, and past campaign history
  • Proactively scout and vet new creators across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
  • Maintain a standardized vetting process covering audience authenticity, engagement quality, and brand safety
  • Develop a creator loyalty or preferred partner program to ensure faster activation and better rates for repeat collaborators
  • Research, evaluate, and onboard third-party UGC creation platforms that can be leveraged to scale content volume for larger campaigns
  • Test and maintain relationships with these platforms on an ongoing basis, assessing their quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Build a tiered framework for when to deploy third-party UGC platforms vs. owned creator relationships based on campaign size, budget, and turnaround requirements

Trend & Competitive Monitoring

  • Continuously monitor trending content categories, sounds, and formats across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Spotify
  • Track competitor label and artist campaigns to identify which creator categories, formats, and niches they are activating
  • Translate trend and competitive insights into actionable weekly direction for the intern team on where to focus creator sourcing
  • Maintain a living trends report or dashboard that informs both creator discovery and campaign creative strategy
  • Identify emerging creator niches before they peak and build relationships with creators in those spaces ahead of demand

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with A&R and marketing teams early in the release cycle to align creator strategy with rollout timing and campaign goals
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to amplify high-performing creator content through paid media
  • Establish a clear and consistent flagging process with the culture page team, including criteria for what qualifies a post for reposting and expected turnaround time

Process & Documentation

  • Own and continuously improve the SOPs for campaign execution, intern onboarding, creator payments, and CRM management
  • Ensure all workflows are documented clearly enough for interns to execute consistently with minimal oversight

Intern Program Management

  • Oversee intern staffing on a rolling 4-month turnover cycle
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of incoming interns to prevent coverage gaps
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with university music business, marketing, and communications programs

  • Provide ongoing supervision and feedback for interns throughout their tenure
  • Other duties as assigned
