Videographer

About us:

Founded by Jordan Cullen in 2018, Cullen Jewellery is an Australian fine jewellery brand grounded in intention, care, and considered design.

As a digital-first brand, we bring together traditional craftsmanship and modern technology to create pieces designed to endure – in both form and feeling.

From carbon neutral lab-grown diamonds to responsible material choices and global replanting initiatives, every detail reflects Cullen’s long-term perspective.

About the position:

This is exciting opportunity to join a growing business as an in-house videographer. You'll be someone with a focus on storytelling that can create captivating narratives but still approaching content from a commercial lense. Working with the rest of the content team you'll do everything from the planning, filming to video editing.

We would love to see a copy of your portfolio as part of your application so please either put the link in the questionnaire, on your resume, or send it through to hr@cullenjewellery.com.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Bring a high level of creativity and strong attention to detail to the planning, production, and delivery of all video content.
  • Operate professional photography and videography equipment to create high-quality content that reflects the brand’s visual standards.
  • Set up and manage lighting for both studio and on-location shoots to achieve the desired look and feel.
  • Manage all stages of video production, from pre-production planning through to filming and post-production, with a strong eye for framing, composition, depth, and background details.
  • Edit video content to a high standard, including sound mixing, colour grading, and formatting for different platforms and output requirements.
  • Work to tight deadlines and deliver polished, on-brand content on time.

What are we seeking?

  • Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects. Experience in the fashion or jewellery space is desirable.
  • Expertise in manual camera settings, video production standards, colour profiles, and formats.
  • Solid experience with video editing software and colour grading tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci).
  • Knowledge of lighting, framing, and composition for video production.
  • Skilled in sound mixing and creating balanced audio for various video formats.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Organisation is key in this role given you'll be involved in multiple projects at once.
