Dext Capital

Program Coordinator

Dext Capital is a national, innovative financial services company headquartered in the Portland Metro area. Dext offers an exceptional culture and opportunities for growth and advancement. We are seeking an experienced, highly adaptable and dynamic Program Coordinator to join our Project Management team.

The Program Coordinator is the operational owner and primary cross-functional coordinator for Dext source programs. This role partners closely with Sales and senior leaders to take new source opportunities, new program concepts, and modifications to existing programs from initial discussion through approval, implementation, and successful handoff to the operating teams. The position requires practical knowledge of the equipment finance industry and the equipment finance origination lifecycle so the Program Coordinator can identify requirements, anticipate downstream impacts, ask the right questions, and help structure workable solutions.

This is a hands-on ownership role. The Program Coordinator drives the work forward, keeps stakeholders and deliverables on task, develops recommendations, obtains decisions from the appropriate senior leaders, and follows through until open items are resolved. The role coordinates both the technical and operational aspects of implementation, including systems, documentation, credit, funding, servicing, legal, accounting, and other process requirements. The position sits within Operations and reports to the Project Manager.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new source programs and modifications to existing programs, partnering with Sales from initial request through approval, implementation, and launch.
  • Apply equipment finance industry knowledge to understand proposed program structures, identify operational requirements and risks, and determine how requests differ from Dext standard processes.
  • Conduct upfront due diligence and develop decision-ready recommendations for the Program Management Committee (PMC) and other senior leaders.
  • Drive the decision-making process by identifying required stakeholders and approvals, facilitating discussions, making recommendations within the scope of the role, and following up with senior leaders until outstanding decisions are resolved.
  • Own the end-to-end coordination and implementation of approved programs, maintaining timelines, action items, dependencies, and accountability across Sales, Credit, Legal, Operations, Documentation & Funding, Contract Management, Customer Service, Collections, Finance, and IT.
  • Coordinate the technical and operational implementation of new and modified programs, including Salesforce setup, system integrations, documentation requirements, workflows, policies, controls, reporting, and servicing requirements.
  • Partner with Sales and functional leaders to ensure program requirements and expectations are clearly defined before commitments are made to sources or customers.
  • Maintain program reporting and visibility, including tracking new source and program requests, implementation status, outstanding decisions, action items, risks, and key milestones; provide regular status reporting to the Project Manager, PMC, and senior leadership as appropriate.
  • Ensure approved programs are operationally ready for launch, including accurate system setup, documented procedures, training, communication, and effective handoff to the teams responsible for ongoing execution.
  • Maintain program documentation, guidelines, and source information, and provide ongoing training and communication regarding new programs, program changes, and the source onboarding process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline source onboarding and program implementation processes and lead other operational initiatives as assigned.

Characteristics

  • Strong ownership mindset with the initiative and judgment to move work forward without waiting for others to drive it.
  • Exceptional organization and project coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, deadlines, dependencies, and stakeholders.
  • Confident communicator and facilitator who can ask difficult questions, recommend a path forward, obtain decisions from senior leaders, and hold stakeholders accountable to commitments.
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented, with the ability to identify risks and gaps, synthesize complex information, exercise sound judgment, and translate decisions into executable technical and operational plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of equipment finance and the origination lifecycle, with the ability to understand how commercial decisions affect downstream operational and servicing requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in the equipment finance industry, including familiarity with equipment finance originations, source/vendor programs, credit, documentation, funding, booking, and servicing processes.
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional program implementations, process changes, or source onboarding initiatives, with demonstrated ability to manage action items, drive decisions, and follow through to completion. Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, including data governance and reporting.
  • 10+ Years experience in the equipment finance industry is required.
