The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Generalist to partner closely with the Head of HR in delivering high impact initiatives across the full employee lifecycle.  This role will serve as a trusted and highly responsive first point of contact for employee relations, helping to create positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes are efficient, consistent and well executed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a hands-on HR generalist supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and offboarding.
  • Manage the company’s global payroll process via the HRIS and Payroll provider, Rippling, owning payroll-related HR data, changes, approvals, reconciliations, reporting, and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with applicable local requirements.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for the company’s HRIS, maintaining employee data, organizational structures, security/access, configurations, and system integrity.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize HRIS workflows and automated processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and enhance the employee and manager experience.
  • Develop HR materials, employee communications, manager resources, timelines, and process documentation
  • Support benefits administration, including employee questions, qualifying life events, and occasional coordination with vendors
  • Build and maintain open-enrollment, performance and year-end reporting processes in DTiQ’s HRIS system
  • Develop and maintain HRIS reports, dashboards, and data analytics to support workforce planning, compliance, payroll, and business decision-making, creating reports ad hoc and on demand to support HR decision making.
  • Provide monthly Worker’s Compensation reporting. Support workers’ compensation audits, ensuring accurate employee classifications, payroll data, organizational information, and supporting documentation are provided within required timelines.
  • Provide HR support for annual Form 5500 audits, including gathering employee, benefits, payroll, and HRIS data and responding to auditor requests.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and ensure HR documentation supports internal controls, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of applicable employment, payroll, benefits, and workers’ compensation requirements across the jurisdictions in which the company operates.

 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Broad working knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and core HR practices.
  • Proven experience in managing payroll process and payroll compliance with a strong understanding of payroll inputs and processing deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy when handling sensitive employee, payroll and HR information.
  • Excellent written an verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and managers
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to develop training & development programs that enhance employee skills and engagement
