About the Role

East West Hospitality is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead and support our afternoon/evening engineering operations in Snowmass Village. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising, training, and developing a team of 4–5 Maintenance Technicians while ensuring exceptional service for our guests, homeowners, and associates.

The ideal candidate is a working supervisor who leads by example, promotes accountability and teamwork, and has strong technical knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and hospitality operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining the safety, appearance, and functionality of our properties during peak afternoon and evening hours.

This position serves as a frontline leader for a bilingual maintenance team and must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to provide training, coaching, performance feedback, and daily operational direction.

The schedule is primarily mid-afternoon through evening, including some weekends and holidays as business needs require.

Duties

·         Supervise, coach, and mentor a bilingual team of 4–5 Maintenance Technicians.

·         Provide hands-on training in building maintenance, troubleshooting, safety procedures, and guest service standards.

·         Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities.

·         Monitor workload distribution and ensure timely completion of work orders.

·         Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

·         Assist with performance coaching, onboarding, and ongoing skills development.

·         Provide daily direction, coaching, and technical training to a bilingual team of Maintenance Technicians.

·         Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and repair activities across residential and hospitality properties.

·         Respond to guest, homeowner, and operational maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner.

·         Troubleshoot and repair systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, appliances, pools, spas,

and general building components.

·         Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, company standards, and safety requirements.

·         Conduct routine property inspections and identify opportunities to improve asset condition and reliability.

·         Coordinate emergency response efforts during evenings and after-hours situations.

·         Monitor and prioritize work orders to ensure high service levels.

·         Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.

·         Assist with inventory management and ordering parts, tools, and supplies.

·         Coordinate with contractors and vendors when necessary.

·         Communicate effectively with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Property Management, and other operational departments.

Qualifications

·         High school diploma or equivalent required.

·         3–5 years of building maintenance, engineering, or facilities experience.

·         Previous supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.

·         Fluent in both English and Spanish with the ability to communicate technical information, training materials, safety

procedures, and performance expectations effectively in both languages.

·         Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.

·         Ability to diagnose problems and implement practical solutions.

·         Experience working in hospitality, resort, condominium, or residential property environments preferred.

·         Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

·         Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office.

·         Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
