This role works in the Toronto office (2300 Yonge St) one to two days per week and remote three to four days per week.


Seeking a B2B media Account Executive for the convenience store industry with expertise in driving revenue across brand portfolio including events, digital media, print media and sponsored custom content. The ideal candidate will have experience selling event sponsorships, media and marketing programs to savvy clients in the grocery or convenience retail industry. (Experience in the CPG or Bev/Alc industry is an asset). Sales will be driven by a consultative or needs-based approach providing accounts with solutions to business growth and marketing challenges. In this role, you will utilize a consultative, needs-based approach to provide accounts with solutions for their business growth and marketing challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consultative Selling: Lead discovery sessions with key clients and stakeholders to uncover gaps in their go-to-market strategy.
  • Proven track record of net-new business acquisition: Demonstrated ability to independently source, qualify, and close new business to expand market share.
  • Integrated Program Development: Create strategic programs across the brand portfolio, including event sponsorships, digital media, custom content, and research programs.
  • Meeting & Presentation Excellence: Conduct weekly consultative client meetings and deliver polished presentations to close high-value programs.
  • Execution & Success: Partner with internal production and execution teams to ensure client success and flawless delivery of closed programs.
  • Pipeline Management: Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly revenue while maintaining CRM integrity to achieve growth goals.
  • New Business Development: Proactively source and qualify new leads to expand the client base by utilizing advanced sales intelligence tools, industry websites, and digital research platforms. Attend key industry events to build new business partnerships and nurture existing relationships, traveling approximately 20% of the time.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of assigned brands, audience positioning and analytics and the competitive landscape.

Position Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of success selling B2B integrated media and event solutions to industry suppliers.
  • Proven Track Record: Exceptional history of exceeding sales targets and managing complex, multi-platform client relationships.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficient in sales performance analytics to monitor sales velocity and territory "white space". Can create sales presentations. Utilizes AI in the sales process.
  • Digital Proficiency: Strong understanding of digital analytics and audience metrics to identify pre-sale opportunities and communicate post-sale performance to clients.
  • Communication & Organization: Highly organized with exceptional follow-through and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Self Starter: A self-motivated individual with a strong internal engine who doesn't wait for a playbook to take action, solve problems, or optimize processes
  • Education: College degree required.

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 CAD + benefits per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, skills, experience, education and location.
