About the role

• We are a team who gives importance and relevance to humanities, collaborating in interdisciplinary projects combining arts, music, history and other humanities asignatures. Our school is currently working with IB World School curriculum; the Music Teacher should be able to work with Music as a core subject and as an elective.

What you'll do

• At Caribbean Global School you will have the opportunity to work with students interested in learning to play instruments as well as in music appreciation and theory. The Music Teacher position is open to someone who can work with students from various age ranges, from 6th to 12th grade.

Qualifications

Academic Qualifications
University Degree:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Humanities, Music, or a related field.
- Preferably, a Master's degree in Education, Music, or a related area.

Teaching Certification:
- Valid teaching certification or license to teach at the secondary education level, according to local regulations.
- Specific certification may be required or preferred.

Professional Experience
Teaching Experience:
- Previous experience teaching Music, ideally in a school setting.
- Experience in planning and executing lesson plans; experience in IB curriculum preferred.

Curriculum Knowledge:
- Familiarity with educational standards and the curriculum for Music.
- Experience using educational resources and technologies to enhance learning.
